Marble Canyon has seven bridges to hike, walking in a zigzag pattern over the deep limestone canyon and the meandering creek below. The canyon is where Torkham Creek joins the Vermilion River, where fossilized Cambrian soft-bodied organisms from millions of years ago have been found, and is quite magnificent. A narrow path over the creek leads to a bridge overlooking the canyon below, with frozen waterfalls cascading down from above on the right, a breathtaking landscape and cool pools of impressive water. Known for its walking trail throughout the year. The trail to the waterfalls of Johnston Canyon has to be the busiest in the Canadian Rockies. Nearly every day throughout the summer, hundreds of hikers follow its canyon-clinging catwalks and cliff-mounting staircases to the gorges Lower and Upper Falls. Throughout the journey, scan the creek and its banks for dippers. Also known as water ouzels, these solitary, slate-grey birds are often seen bouncing up and down on streamside rocks.

Then take a relaxing trip by coach out of Calgary, eventually arriving at the beautiful Tunnel Mountain Drive, which takes you into Banff. Head next to the Banff Gondola, gliding above the nearby peaks near town, as you enjoy the incredible views on the ride up. Once you reach the top, take some time to visit the boardwalk and the 360-degree observation deck for more panoramas of the stunning collection of peaks nearby. Then continue to Bow Falls, a gushing waterfall near town which offers great photo opportunities.

"Takakkaw" translates to "magnificent in Cree.The falls are fed by the meltwater of the Daly Glacier, which is part of the Waputik Icefield. Our one hour Buffalo Loop is an ideal introduction to horses and trail riding. Relax and enjoy the scenery as you travel through the wooded terrain surrounding Boundary Ranch. The Evening show featuring the Chuckwagon Races, with 27 teams of horses and drivers racing to the finish line each night and Indigenous Relay Races are sure to amaze. The excitement is capped off nightly with the Grandstand Show and a firework finale that lights up the sky for all 10 nights.
