At the northern point of Lake Massawippi, the village was developed all around this areas natural amphitheatre and attracts a large number of tourists from everywhere. North Hatley is a highly recognized vacation site in the Eastern Townships. The beginning of the fall, with its symphony of colours, is a spectacular time to tour the area by bike or on foot. In winter, the white rolling hills and glittering snow over the lake give North Hatley a fairytale feel.
