It's host to the famous Cirque de Soleil and hosted the Summer Olympics in 1976 and houses the Place Royale, Basilica of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, La Citadelle de Québec, Fortifications of Quebec National Historic Site, Plains of Abraham (Champs de Bataille), Musee de la Civilisation, Parliament Building (Hotel du Parlement) & Parliament Hill.

North Hatley (Quebec)
North Hatley was founded in 1897 and it is known as one of the most beautiful small towns of Quebec. Its landscapes offer breathtaking views, its architectural heritage and its olden-day village centre are all unique. At the northern point of Lake Massawippi, the village was developed all around this areas natural amphitheatre and attracts a large number of tourists from everywhere. North Hatley is a highly recognized vacation site in the Eastern Townships. The beginning of the fall, with its symphony of colours, is a spectacular time to tour the area by bike or on foot. In winter, the white rolling hills and glittering snow over the lake give North Hatley a fairytale feel.

This is also a city if grand historic importance. The ramparts surrounding Old Quebec (Vieux-Quebec) are the only fortified city walls remaining in the Americas north of Mexico. This area was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1985 as the "Historic District of Old Quebec.

Saint Alexis des Monts (Quebec)
Saint-Alexis-des-Monts may not be as popular as other cities in Canada, but don`t let that fool you. Saint-alexis-des-monts is a smaller but beautiful upcoming tourist destination that is worth a visit. You will be surprised by some of the unique things to do and places you can explore at this hidden destination. Guests can definitely plan a few hours of a side trip here while traveling to Montreal or Mont-tremblant. You might wish to revisit it someday again, to take a break and relax at Saint-alexis-des-monts.

Val-David (Quebec)
Val-David is a village of more than 5,200 inhabitants in the Laurentian Mountains. Many renowned and amateur artists, writers and dancers live and have lived in Val-David, notably Quebecois poet Gaston Miron, jazz bassist Charlie Biddle, and singer-songwriter Alan Gerber.
