Enjoy one of the most beautiful and relaxing places in the world. Tayrona National Park, a magical slice of Colombia's Caribbean coast, with stunning stretches of golden sandy beach backed by coconut palms and thick rainforest. Behind it all, the steep hillsides of the Sierra Nevada of Santa Marta, the world's highest coastal mountain range. The park stretches along the coast from the Bahia de Taganga near Santa Marta to the mouth of the Rio Piedras.
Day 1:
Arrival to Tayrona Park
One of our representatives will pick you up at the airport to take you to Tayrona Park (1 Hour from Santa Marta) we well rest upon arrival.
Day 2:
Breakfast at your hotel. Tour Tayrona Park – Canaveral Reef. One of our representatives will pick you up at the hotel in the morning to start a walk of one hour to the Reef, one of the most exclusive places of the National Park Tayrona, where the sea makes a beautiful "natural pool", a great place to take a bath. It's a great tour to see the nature. Notes: The tour includes Tayrona park ticket, transport and typical lunch. This tour lasts approximately 8 hours.
Day 3:
Breakfast at your hotel. One of our representatives will pick you up at the hotel to take to the Valencia Waterfall. Here, you will be taken for a 25 min walk along the trail surrounded by flora and fauna of the region. This trail will lead you to the beautiful waterfall. Later, you will be taken for a 40 minute drive to Taironaka parking, then a 10 minutes ride on a boat will take you to a natural reserve located on the shores of the river Don Diego where you will be able to see the terraces where the Tayrona Indians used to build their homes. In Taironaka you will have the opportunity to swim in the waters descending from the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta to the river. Notes: The tour includes transportation, lunch and guidance. This tour lasts approximately 8 hours.
Day 4:
Breakfast at your hotel. Transfer to the Airport.
