Start in one of Colombia`s most popular tourist destinations: Cartagena (colonial city on the shores of the sea, and one of the most visited); and then, Bogota (Colombia's capital city, has so much to offer in terms of cuisine, culture, history, sports and art). After that, fly to your next destinations in Peru, to enjoy Cuzco (former capital city of the Incas and UNESCO World Heritage Site. The ruins of the old Inca city became the foundation for the Spanish architecture you see today, and many of the stone walls that line the streets were built by the Incas). From there, take a tour throughout the magnificent Machu Pichu (the most spectacular urban creation of the Inca Empire and the most visited tourist destination in Peru; designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983 and was named one of the New Seven Wonders of the World in 2007). Trip Summary

  • Cartagena

Walk through Cartagena`s welcoming alleys and streets and you will discover one of the most fascinating towns in the Caribbean, with a uniquely romantic atmosphere and well-preserved colonial architectural treasures. To add to its Caribbean Sea appeal, Cartagena guards inside its walls the largest fortification in the Americas built during Colonial times to protect it from pirates and buccaneers. Throw in the cultural mélange resulting from the Spanish-indigenous mix and you have a vibrant city that should be on every traveler must-see list.
