Trip Summary

  • Lima

Lima is a sophisticated and cosmopolitan city that has retained much of its classic colonial architecture and pre-Columbian archaeological sites, that features many of South America's most beautiful historic museums, churches and cathedrals. The city is alive with activity in its trendy neighborhoods like Miraflores, the beach fronts of Costa Verde and Barranco, and the upscale boutiques, massive shopping plazas, and exclusive shops.

Visit the Plaza Bolivar, Plaza Italia, Plaza de Armas, Alameda Chabuca Granda Viewpoint, and much more!

  • Amazon - Tambopata

Tambopata and its massive wilderness reserves are accessed from Puerto Maldonado, at the confluence of the Madre de Dios and Tambopata rivers in the Amazon Basin. The riverside city serves as a gateway to what very well may be one of the world's most expansive and bio-diverse jungle rainforest habitats.

Visit the Tambopata River, Monkey Island, Tambopata National Reserve, Puerto Maldonado, Sandoval Lake, Madre de Dios River, and so much more!

  • Cuzco

Cuzco was the epicenter of Inca civilization until the arrival of the Spaniards in 1533. Fortunately, many stunning Incan structures have survived and helped to make Cuzco the archaeological capital of the Americas, and Peru's most popular destination. Gateway to the Sacred Valley, and the lost city of Machu Picchu, Cuzco has a seemingly endless array of historic attractions, both Incan and colonial.

Visit the Cuzco main square, Cathedral, Sol Avenue, Koricancha Temple, Kenko, Don Antonia dinner show, and much more!

  • Machu Picchu

Machu Picchu is known as 'The Lost City of the Incas' protected by steep cliffs, and lush green mountains. Generally accepted as the most important and captivating archaeological sites remaining from the Incan Empire. The complex, which includes temples, residences, fountains and hundreds of steps, was declared a World Heritage site in 1983, and voted one of the New Seven Wonders of the World in 2007.

Visit the Inca Trail, Mandor Gardens and Waterfalls, Temple of the Moon, Huayna Picchu, Machu Picchu Citadel, and much more!
