Lima is a sophisticated and cosmopolitan city that has retained much of its classic colonial architecture and pre-Columbian archaeological sites, that features many of South America's most beautiful historic museums, churches and cathedrals. Lake Titicaca (Puno)

Puno is believed to be the first hub of the indigenous migration in Peru and the birthplace of the Aymara people that existed in southern Peru before the Incas. The main attraction here is the stunningly beautiful Lake Titicaca, and its fabled islands including the floating islands of the Uru people created entirely of dried totora reeds. Each island is unique in culture and customs, and many can be visited during day trips.
