Grand Rapids is the second-largest city in Michigan, after Detroit. It is the hometown of former president Gerald Ford, who is buried alongside his wife Betty at the Gerald Ford Presidential Museum. A very popular travel destination, it is home to such charmingly beautiful historic districts as Heritage Hill and Belknap Hill, as well as one of the oldest history museums in the country, the Van Andel Museum Center, and the resplendent 125-acre Frederik Meijer Gardens.
