Trip Summary

  • Portland, OR
    Portland, OR

Portland has a wide variety of parks, bridges and bicycle paths as well as art, theaters and a vivid music scene. Its eco-friendliness, its microbreweries and coffeehouses are enchanting and the Iconic Washington Park encompasses sites from the formal Japanese Garden to Oregon Zoo and its railway. A little bit creative, a little bit counter-culture, Portland is a year-round, always-evolving city that`s home to a mindful community dedicated to keeping its city sustainable, innovative and accessible.

Visit and discover the Portland Japanese Garden, Oregon Zoo, International Rose Test Garden, Washington Park, Portland Art Museum, and so much more!

  • Astoria, OR
    Astoria, OR

Astoria sits on the Columbia River, near the Pacific Ocean. The Astoria Column, a towering hilltop monument with murals depicting area history, offers panoramic views. The Columbia River Maritime Museum showcases fishing, shipping and military history in a waterfront building. Set in a Queen Anne style Victorian mansion, Flavel House Museum features period furniture as well as manicured gardens. Astoria is gritty, and likes it that way. But that rustic exterior is just a cover for the many enchanting dichotomies you`ll find waiting around the next corner. In recent popular culture, Astoria is most famous for being the setting of the 1985 film The Goonies, which was filmed on location in the city.

Visit and discover the Fort Astoria, Megler Bridge, Heritage Museum, Astoria Riverwalk, Clatsop County Parks, Shively Park, and so much more.

  • Newport, OR
    Newport, OR

Newport is a city on Oregon`s central coast. The Oregon Coast Aquarium, on Yaquina Bay, features local marine life, with underwater walkways and a seabird aviary. Nearby, the iconic, arched Yaquina Bay Bridge has 2 observation areas. Yaquina Bay State Park is home to the 1871 Yaquina Bay Lighthouse. A basalt rock beach and the 1800s Yaquina Head Lighthouse are highlights of the Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area. Few communities embody the offbeat vibe of the Coast better, and Newport`s unconventional attractions, lighthouses, and aesthetic make it immensely memorable. Bordering on both the Pacific Ocean and the large Yaquina Bay, Newport is so many things combined into one remarkable place.

Explore the Oregon Coast Aquarium, Yaquina Head Lighthouse, Nye Beach, Yaquina Bay Bridge, Ripley's Believe It or Not! World of Adventure, South Beach State Park, Yaquina Bay, and so much more!
