January - March (Winter)

January - March is considered the Winter season when temperatures are ideal, between 82 -87 degrees F. February is the winter’s driest month and is considered the best time to go to Jamaica. Precipitation decreases from winter highs of eight inches in December to February. This is also the high season, when the island is at its busiest, especially around Christmas and New Year's. If you want to save some money and avoid crowds, do not plan your vacation for this time of year.
