Denarau Island

Denarau Island is a small private island on the west side of the main island Viti Levu in Fiji. One of the largest integrated resorts in the South Pacific attached to the mainland by a short causeway. The island features an 18 hole championship golf course and several internationally known resorts such as Hilton, Sheraton, Radisson, Westin, Sofitel, and Worldmark. Exclusive resorts and hotels fringe the island shores and Denarau Marina is the main departure point on the island for excursions to the Mamanuca Islands. A wide variety of restaurants are located in Denarau offering waterfront dining and delicious local cuisine including freshly caught fish and seafood. The port offers shopping, cafes and a supermarket and is the location for many festivals including the South Pacific Food and Wine Festival and the Fiji International Jazz and Blues Festival.
