Paracas Bay

The quaint port town of Paracas is situated on Peru`s west coast in the Pisco province of southern Peru in the sheltered Paracas Bay. The town is the launching pad to the massive Paracas National Park, Ballestas Island, and the magnificent Nazca Lines. Paracas Bay is small and walkable with many hotels, resorts, restaurants, and shops found in the center of the village (El Chaco) and on the shorefront. The hotels and resorts on the beach and in the picturesque bay boast fantastic views of the enigmatic Candelabra figure carved into the hillside along with plenty of sunshine filled days to relax by the pool or the ocean.

The surrounding area is brimming with exciting attractions and adventure where visitors can visit the sprawling national reserve, take boat trips to see the islands, ride dune buggies in the desert and check out the historical and archaeological sites of Nazca. The waterfront boasts a charming boardwalk which is a great place to visit in the evening times to watch a sunset, grab some cocktails and sit down for a nice dinner with breathtaking views and a laid back atmosphere.

Santo Domingo

The small neighborhood of Santo Domingo is situated along the sparkling shoreline of the Paracas National Park in the southern Pisco province on the west coast of Peru. There are some great accommodations found here in this laidback beachside town, many situated directly on the beach with spectacular views of the ocean. Santo Domingo is within walking distance to the sprawling Paracas National Park offering many outdoor attractions and activities. There are several restaurants, cafes, bars and shops in the area along with rental and tour companies offering boat rides to the islands and watersports such as kite surfing.
