The main airport servicing the city of Neuquen is the Presidente Peron Airport located 5 miles west of the city center.
How do I get from the airport to my hotel?There are buses, taxis, and rental cars available at the airport. The tank rank is located outside the Arrivals hall. There are several international rental car agencies found at the airport, just look for the signs for rental cars. Bus line 28 travels from outside the airport at the bus station on San Martin Street to the city center. You must have a SUBE card to ride the bus, the estimated frequency is around every 40 minutes.
How do I get around the city using public transportation?Buses are the main form of public transportation in Neuquen city. The Estacion Terminal de Omnibus de Neuquen is the main bus terminal with services that operate strictly within the city and long distances throughout the country. To travel by bus you must have a SUBE card which is available to purchase from kiosks in the bus terminal.
Can I ride the train in Neuquen?There is a small train station in the city of Neuquen. The station is located in the city center, by Central Park in a historic building dating back to 1902. served by the Ferrosur Roca’s Zapala-Bahia Blanca freight service and the Tren del Valle commuter service. The commuter service connects Neuquen with the neighboring areas of Cipolletti, and Plottier. Freight services run to Bahia Blanca, and Zapala.

Paseo de la Patagonia is a shopping mall open daily from 10-10, centrally located this expansive mall is the ultimate destination for combining shopping and leisure. It is easily accessible when exploring the city and boasts a number of retail stores including international brands to unique local boutiques. On top of shopping the mall offers a great selection of dining options that range from quick eats to sit-down restaurants dishing up local delicacies or international cuisine. There is also a cinema at the mall and other entertainment options. The Feria de Artesanos is a popular local craft market located on Argentina Avenue every weekend Friday-Sunday from 6:00 - 9:00 pm.
