Town

The colorful town of Ushuaia is the southernmost city in the world often referred to as the `End of the World`. The popular port town is the gateway to the sprawling Tierra del Fuego National Park and Antarctica with a busy cruise port. The breathtaking town sits on the north shore of the Beagle Channel and is the terminus of the world`s southernmost highway. Beagle Channel

The famous Beagle Channel is a strait in the Tierra del Fuego archipelago situated at the extreme southern tip of South America, between Chile and Argentina. The popular channel separates Puerto Williams, Chile from Ushuaia, Argentina with a series of smaller islands in the south. The channel was named for the British Ship HMS Beagle, in which Charles Darwin explored the region in 1833.
