CARDIFF CENTRAL TRAIN STATION

Cardiff Central railway station is the larger of the two main railway stations in Cardiff (the other station, which came first, is Queen Street). The station opened in 1850 and was rebuilt and renovated in the 1930s, which is when the northern façade received the look it has today. The southern entrance is more modern and was completed in 2015. With 12.6 million passengers passing through in 2019, it is the busiest train station in Wales.

The station is located in Cardiff`s Central Square and is a key stop on the South Wales Main Line from Swindon (England) as well as the Great Western Railway route from London Paddington station.
