Take one of the most spectacular driving routes in the world; "The Great Ocean Road" in Australia. Combine with a Rental Car and visit; Melbourne (the cultural capital of Australia); next is Lorne (one of the first towns on the Great Ocean Road, and surfing destination); after that, Warrnambool (known for its safe, sheltered beaches, its moderate climate, its parks and gardens, and Logan's Beach where southern right whales come to give birth each year between June and September); and then, Portland (with historic buildings, beaches and Portland Bay which is ideal for boating, fishing, sailboarding and surfing). From there, drive to Apollo Bay (entry point for some of Australia's most celebrated short and multi-day walks, and is the perfect base to explore the Great Ocean Walk and surrounding Otway's rainforest). End this trip with a couple of spectacular nights, again in Melbourne before heading back home.

Australia
The only country that has a whole continent to itself, Australia is a major tourist destination. World-famous for its natural wonders and wide-open spaces (beaches, deserts, and 'the Outback'), Australia is ironically one of the world's most highly urbanized countries and is well known for its cosmopolitan cities, such as Sydney, Melbourne, and Canberra. If you're interested in the miracles of the water-world, don't miss the Great Barrier Reef. The Wet Tropics of Queensland comprise dense rainforests and foaming waterfalls. Rare species of animals can be seen in the famous Kakadu National Park as well as ancient aboriginal art.
