After your breakfast our guide will meet and pick you up in the lobby at 8:00am at your accommodation (Hotel or Guest House) and we will take you to buy temples pass along the way to temples then well visit the world famous Angkor Wat temple.

It really is amazing! Afterward continue to Ta Prohm on the small circuit road. This temple is one with a lot of gigantic tree roots over the temple and is the place where Hollywood made the movie "Tomb Raider".

After busy couple hours in the morning between 12:00pm-1:00pm well have lunch at a local restaurant nearby take around 45 minutes - 1 hour

Angkor Wat is the largest religious monument in the world. It was built early in the 12th century. As the best-preserved temple at the site, it is the only one to have remained a significant religious centre since its foundation. We will enter the great temple from the little-visited eastern side. We continue our journey on foot and creep through a jungle path to the North ancient library pool. Listen to the explanations of your expert guide, then spend time venturing into the central chambers of the temple, where your local guide will reveal the history, myths and stories depicted on the stone bas-reliefs (the longest stretch of bas-relief carvings in the world) then you will venture deep into the central chambers of this truly great temple. 2: Angkor Thom South Gate

The South Gate is one of the five gates of Angkor Thom (the Ancient Capital City of the Khmer Empire). The gate flanked by a row of 54 stone figures on each side was the entrance to the fortified city of Angkor Thom. At the height of its greatness, Angkor Thom had a population of more than one million people and was larger in size than the city of London. It is one of the most popular tourist spots in the Angkor Wat area.

3: Bayon Temple

The Bayon is a richly decorated Khmer temple at Angkor in Cambodia. Built in the 13th century as the state temple of King Jayavarman VII, the Bayon stands at the centre of Jayavarman's capital. The Bayon's most distinctive feature is the multitude of serene and smiling stone faces on the many towers which jut out from the upper terrace and cluster around its central peak. You'll see its beautifully crafted central towers, covered in more than 200 enormous faces. The temple has two sets of bas-reliefs, which present a combination of mythological, historical and mundane scenes. The outer wall of the outer gallery features a series of bas-reliefs depicting historical events and scenes from the everyday life of the Angkorian Khmer. The inner gallery bas-reliefs depict mythological events.

The famous Terrace of the Leper King. The U-shaped structure is thought by some to have been used as a royal cremation site. Bayon is adopted by 49 towers, each tower is adorned with the four smiling faces. That is why now the tourists love to name Bayon as the Most Beautiful Smiling Faces Temple in the world. These four faces are smiling brightly to the four main directions. East for Shiva, South for Brahma, West for Vishnu and North for Indra. For Buddhism Meaning, these four faces are dedicated to Lokesvara or King Jayavarman VII. Ta Prohm is the most popular jungle temple in Cambodia where Hollywood has filmed a famous movie called The Tomb Raiders. Ta Prohm Temple was built by King Jayavarman VII in 1186, dedicated to his mother in the form of Prachnabaramita, a goddess of Mercy and the personification of the perfection of Wisdom in Mahayana Buddhism. WHAT TO EXPECT

1: Angkor Wat

Starting the tour early, our guide will meet and pick you up in the lobby at 4:45am at your accommodation (Hotel or Guest House) and we will take you to buy temples pass along the way to temples then we go to watch the sunrise at Angkor Wat. After sunrise then return to your hotel for breakfast and we will start tour again after your breakfast.

After your breakfast our guide will meet and pick you up in the lobby again then we will go to Angkor Wat again visit the world famous Angkor Wat temple.

It really is amazing! Afterward continue to Ta Promh on the small circuit road. This temple is one with a lot of gigantic tree roots over the temple and is the place where Hollywood made the movie "Tomb Raider".

3: Chau Srei Vibol

Chau Srei Vibol temple is a remote Hindu temple that is located in the main villages of the local people. Only a few tourists know about it! But it is worth a visit. This temple is located east of Siem Reap city and on the ancient road from Angkor to Beng Mealea temple, it was originally built by King Suryavarman II to dedicate to Hindu Gods, it is a sandstone temple with a beautiful landscape of pool and modern Buddhist temple. 4: Roluos Temples

Rolous is a name for the local community in Bakong District, Siem Reap, Cambodia. Rolous is the name of a rainforest tree, it's a thorny tree. Now For Tourism, Rolous is the group of Angkor temples, it was the second largest capital city of Khmer Empire(805-905) A.D. It's adopted by many ruins but the major temples for tourists to visit and explore are Lolei Preah Ko and Bakong Temple. They are all fine and impressive!

5: Prasat Bakong

Bakong is the first Khmer temple mountain of sandstone constructed by rulers of the Khmer Empire at Angkor, Cambodia. In the final decades of the 9th century AD, it served as the official state temple of King Indravarman I in the ancient city of Hariharalaya, located in an area that today is called Roluos.
In 802 AD, the first king of Angkor Jayavarman II declared the sovereignty of Cambodia. After ups and downs, he established his capital at Hariharalaya. A few decades later, his successors constructed Bakong in stages as the first temple mountain of sandstone at Angkor. The inscription on its stele (classified K.826) says that in 881 King Indravarman I dedicated the temple to the god Shiva and consecrated its central religious image, a lingam whose name Sri Indresvara was a combination of the king's own and the suffix "-esvara" which stood for Shiva ("Ivara"). According to George Coedès, the devarja cult consisted in the idea of divine kingship as a legitimacy of royal power.

6: Lolei

Lolei is the northernmost temple of the Roluos group of three late 9th century Hindu temples at Angkor, Cambodia, the other members of which are Preah Ko and the Bakong. Lolei was the last of the three temples to be built as part of the city of Hariharalaya that once flourished at Roluos, and in 893 the Khmer king Yasovarman I dedicated it to Shiva and to members of the royal family. The name "Lolei" is thought to be a modern corruption of the ancient name "Hariharalaya,which means "the city of Harihara." Once an island temple, Lolei was located on an island slightly north of center in the now dry Indratataka baray,construction of which had nearly been completed under Yasovarman's father and predecessor Indravarman I. Scholars believe that placing the temple on an island in the middle of a body of water served to identify it symbolically with Mount Meru, home of the gods, which in Hindu mythology is surrounded by the world oceans. Then transfer you back to your hotel in Siem Reap.

7: Preah Ko

Preah Ko means "The Sacred Bull" was the first temple to be built in the ancient and now defunct city of Hariharalaya (in the area that today is called Roluos), some 15 kilometers south-east of the main group of temples at Angkor, Cambodia. The temple was built under the Khmer King Indravarman I in 879 to honor members of the king's family, whom it places in relation with the Hindu deity Shiva.
After the Khmer king Jayavarman II founded the Khmer Empire in 802 A.D. He finally established his capital at Hariharalaya, where he died. Indravarman I was the nephew of Jayavarman II. When he ascended to the throne, he ordered the construction first of Preah Ko, which was dedicated in 879, and later of the temple-mountain known as the Bakong. It is likely that this building program was made possible by the king's peaceful reign and his ability to draw income from the expanding Empire. A restoration of the towers took place in the early 1990s, financed by the German government.

We will begin our tour early in the morning. At 8:00am, our guide will come to meet you can pick you up from your hotel or guest house. We'll stop to buy temple pass and head to Angkor Wat temple to watch a beautiful sunrise. After sunrise, we will return to your hotel for breakfast.

Banteay Srei, renowned as the most beautiful pink sandstone temple in Cambodia, is located about 37 kilometers north of Angkor Wat. The name "Banteay Srei" translates to "Lady Temple," and its unique charm lies in its remarkable state of preservation and its small size, which is complemented by exquisite decorative details. This temple is truly a jewel of Khmer art. Due to its fine and intricate carvings, some locals believe it must have been constructed by women, which is reflected in its name.

Originally known as Isvarapura, Banteay Srei was built by King Rajendravarman II in 967 AD and was dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple was rediscovered by a Frenchman in 1914, although the site was not fully cleared until 1924. Peah Vihear Temple is a Khmer temple situated atop a 525-metre (1,722 ft) cliff in the Dangrek Mountains, in the Preah Vihear province of northern Cambodia and on the border of Kantharalak district (amphoe) in Sisaket province of eastern Thailand. In 1962, following a lengthy dispute between Thailand and Cambodia over ownership, a majority of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague awarded the temple to Cambodia.

Preah Vihear Temple (Pass by)

Today you will depart early. Our team will pickup your group at 5:30 AM, so please ask your hotel to prepare breakfast boxes for pickup. We will pause in the small town of Anlong Veng for breakfast, Anlong Veng is historically significant as the final stronghold and de facto capital of the Khmer Rouge until 1998, and it is the place where Pol Pot died. The town contains several sites of historical interest, including the former residence of Ta Mok, which many visitors include on their itinerary.

After Anlong Veng we continue to the spectacular Hindu temple of Preah Vihear, perched on the crest of the Dângrêk Mountain range near the Thai border. Preah Vihear dates from the Angkorian period (9th12th centuries) and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site; from the temple terraces you have sweeping views across the plain and can even see across the border into Thailand. We will spend approximately two hours exploring the temple complex, its intricate carvings, and the dramatic cliffside vistas.

1: Koh Ker Temple

After a lunch break, we continue to visit Koh Ker temples. Its a remote site featuring fascinating Hindu monuments located approximately 125 kilometers northeast of Siem Reap city. This historical site was established by King Jayavarman IV, built numerous temples in this area.

Koh Ker is known by two names: Chhoark Koki and Lingas Puravida. This journey is an excellent opportunity to combine your visit to Koh Ker & Preah Vihear temple.

The Bayon is a richly decorated Khmer temple at Angkor in Cambodia. Built in the 13th century as the state temple of King Jayavarman VII, the Bayon stands at the centre of Jayavarman's capital. The Bayon's most distinctive feature is the multitude of serene and smiling stone faces on the many towers which jut out from the upper terrace and cluster around its central peak. You'll see its beautifully crafted central towers, covered in more than 200 enormous faces. The temple has two sets of bas-reliefs, which present a combination of mythological, historical and mundane scenes. 4: Baphuon Temple

Baphuon is located in Angkor Thom, northwest of the Bayon. Built in the mid-11th century, it is a three-tiered temple mountain built as the state temple. The temple adjoins the southern enclosure of the Royal Palace and measures 120 metres east-west by 100 metres north-south at its base and stands 34 meters tall without its tower, which would have made it roughly 50 meters tall. Its appearance apparently impressed Temür Khan's late of the 13th century envoy Chou Ta-kuan during his visit from 1296 to 1297, who said Bayon was the Tower of Gold and Baphuon was 'the Tower of Bronze...a truly astonishing spectacle, with more than ten chambers at its base.

Here you can see a different way of living: students rowing their boats to school, houses built on high stilts, Buddhist monks worshiping in their temple and vendors selling their wares by boat. Visit the flooded forest, see the floating houses and floating market. Enjoy sunset view on Tonle sap floating village.
