1: Giant Panda Breeding Research Base (Xiongmao Jidi)

Morning, meet your guide at hotel lobby and drive out of downtown Chengdu to the world famous Panda Breeding Center.

As you spend the morning exploring this panda wonderland, your experienced guide will take you on the quieter paths, while providing insightful facts about giant pandas.

As you begin your tour, you will see the centers more sedate adult pandas, but your walk takes you to the teenage juvenile panda enclosure, where five or more three year old live in a large open enclosure, making for wonderful photographs.

At the top of the hill, the panda nursery and kindergarten house the most adorable baby pandas. You might see them drinking milk or eating bamboo, rolling around on the grass, or occasionally fighting. Depending on the weather, they could be climbing trees or snoozing under them. Unpredictable, but always entertaining!.

The Panda Breeding Center also protects the endangered red panda a type of raccoon, with a long tail and beautiful red fur.

2: Chengdu Renmin Park

After leaving the Panda Breeding Center, your guide will take you to taste authentic Sichuan style dishes in local restaurant.(You can upgrade to hotpot lunch)

After lunch, you will visit the People's Park, a green oasis in the cement forest of Chengdu.

Sit in bamboo armchairs and sip a cup of jasmine tea in a traditional tea house while mingling with the locals and experiencing the relaxed Chengdu life.

4: Chuanzhusi Town

Gami Temple is located at the foot of Xiaoxi Tiansheng Mountain, 30 kilometers north of Songpan County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, in Zhangla Crystal Township. "Gami" in Chinese means a peaceful and joyful place, "Lin" refers to a temple, and in Tibetan, it is called "Gengqiadeqin Gamilin", which means "Gami Temple where Buddhism gathers".
The temple has a long history. The first generation Chacha Lama, Master Renqing Jianzan, built the predecessor of Gami Temple, the Chacha Geng Pagoda "Temple" in 1378 AD (also known as 1335 AD). The temple architecture is unique, with a front facing scripture wheel for believers of our religion to rotate. The front is a large scripture hall, and the back is a monk's room, with a beautiful glass and gold roof. Architecture, sculpture, and thangka are all elegant and unique.

The scenery of Jiuzhaigou Valley Scenic and Historic Interest Area Valley varies from season to season. In spring, ice and snow melt and mountain flowers bloom; In summer, the water is abundant and the waterfall reaches its peak; Autumn is colorful, with red and yellow leaves scattered throughout the mountains and fields; In winter, it is covered in silver, with mountains and forests covered in snow. WHAT TO EXPECT

After early pickup from your downtown Chengdu hotel, travel to Mount Qingcheng by private, air-conditioned vehicle with your guide.

One of Chinas most important Taoism centers, this densely forested mountain featured in 2016's Kung Fu Panda 3 and inspired its makers to create the movie's idyllic-looking Panda Village.

On arrival, ride a electric kart to the entrance and set off to explore the highlights of temples, pavilions, and other attractions. Trek up to the Moon City Lake and ride a cable car to Shangqing Palace, Qingshengs must-see building.

Perched at 3,280 feet (1,000 meters) and dating from the Jin Dynasty (265 AD-420 AD), this elaborate complex was rebuilt in the 1800s and consists of serene temples and an ancient gingko tree.

Hike further to see the enchanting Laojun Pavilion, and if the weather permits, admire the spectacular views from here over the city of Dujiangyan far below.

After descending by foot and cable car, and having lunch at a local restaurant, travel to the Qinyan Pavilion, where a viewing platform commands panoramic views of the Dujiangyan irrigation project.

Take in the scale of the system the worlds oldest and only surviving non-dam irrigation facility and learn how this 3rd-century BC marvel still channels waters from the River Minjiang to the surrounding farmlands.

Then, continue to the Erwang Temple (Two Kings Temple), a grandiose wooden complex on the banks of the Minjiang built to honor the irrigation systems designers.

From here, walk across the Anlan Suspension Bridge to view two of Dujiangyans best-known sections Fish Mouth Weir and Bottle-Neck Channel.

See how his fish-mouth-shaped levee and channel funnel the river waters, and then stroll through Lidui Park and beautiful bonsai gardens before returning to Chengdu. Your tour then ends back at the starting point.

1: Mount Qingcheng

7:15am,your private tour guide and driver will meet you at your hotel lobby, drive 1.5h to world culture heritage site-Mt.Qingcheng.

Leave early to avoid the traffic jam and enjoy the tranquility.

Upon arrival, take golf carto the entrance. Once you step in the mountain gate,you will see the quaint Taoist style architecture that inspired Dream Works to create the idyllic Panda Village in their movie, Kungfu Panda 3.

In these tranquil surroundings, you will begin your half-hour walk uphill to the Moon City Lake where the cable car will lift you up to explore the most significant Taoist temple.

Then continue your hike to the mountain top where Laojun Pavilion is located.

Once you have enjoyed all that the mountain offers, you will board the cable car down from Shangqing Palace for the 30 minute walk to exit Mount Qingcheng.

After yummy Lunch, visit Dujiangyan Irrigation Project. Your guide will brief you on this ancient engineering marvel how it works and how it has benefited the local people since the Qin Dynasty (220 BC).

From Qinyan Pavilion, continue to Erwang Temple (also known as Two Kings Temple) which was erected in the Qin Dynasty to commemorate the designers of the irrigation system, Li Bing and his son. Afterwards, you will cross the Anlan Suspension Bridge to the main part of Dujiangyan Irrigation System: Fish Mouth Weir and Bottle-Neck Channel ,you will gain deeper understanding how dose Dujiangyan Irrigation System work.

Later, exit the irrigation system through Lidui Park and pass through an quite,elegant bonsai garden.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Be ready bright and early for pickup at your Chengdu hotel, where youll meet your private guide and take off for the Chengdu Panda Breeding Center. During your time there, you will get to see a variety of pandas, from infant to adulthood, and learn about the centers mission to save and rehabilitate pandas.

Then head to the Leshan Giant Buddha Park, where you will sit down for a Sichuan-style lunch before exploring.

After lunch, climb Lingyun Hill to visit the statue, which is 233 feet (71 meters) tall and carved out of a cliff, overlooking the confluence of the Qingyi, Dadu, and Min rivers. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is the largest stone Buddha in the world.

Walk down the Red Sand Cliff Road to see the Buddhas profile from the bottom, then take the path over to the Mahao Grottoes, cave formations that are over 2000 years old.

Please note: on the weekends or holidays, there can be a long wait to see the Buddha. If you wish to skip the climb, you can go on a river cruise and see the Buddha from there.

1: Giant Panda Breeding Research Base (Xiongmao Jidi)

Chengdu panda base is a lovely garden with bamboo forests, swan lake, lush trees that will definitely make your visit memorable.

See some of the super stars - adolescent pandas (teenagers). There are 5 to 7 teenage pandas (about 3 years old) living in the big open enclosure.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Get ready for morning hotel pickup in downtown Chengdu; the tour company will confirm exact time upon booking. Once your guide/driver arrives, climb into the private tour vehicle and head for the Dujiangyan Irrigation System, roughly 1.5 hours away by road.

Disembark at the UNESCO World Heritage site, where your guide will lead you on a private tour. Learn about the third-century BC Chinese science that made this eco-friendly engineering wonder possible. The system controls the flow of the Minjiang River and drains floodwater, provides water to more than 50 cities, and irrigates nearby farms.

From here, it's about 90 minutes drive to the UNESCO-listed Dujiangyan Irrigation System, a wonder in the history of Chinese science that dates back to the third century BC. Engineered to exploit natural features to control the Minjiang River, and the flow of water from the mountains to the plains throughout the year, it consists of three main sections: Yuzui, Feishayan, and Baopingkou. Even today it plays a crucial role in draining floodwater, irrigating farms, and providing water to more than 50 cities in Sichuan.

After your guide has explained the site to you and you've toured the landscape, break for lunch. This is at your own expense, but your guide will be happy to recommend some local specialities to you.

Next, you'll drive 45 minutes or so to Mount Qingcheng, also listed by UNESCO. This is where the 2nd-century AD philosopher Zhang Ling founded Chinese Taoism. Many celebrated Taoist temples nestle among its verdant trees, some built in the classic Sichuan style. It takes a little under two hours to return to Chengdu: you should be back at your hotel at around 6 pm.

After about an hours driving, you will get to the Qingcheng Mountain. Qing Cheng Mountain sits at a height of 1,260 meters above sea level. It is the birth place of Taoism and is not only known in China as being one of the great mountains of Taoism but also as a world heritage site. The mountain is praised for being one of the most peaceful places under heaven. When youre there, all you will hear is the sounds of water running, birds singing, the wind blowing through the lush green trees, and your own footsteps. Located at the joint of Minjiang River, Dadu River and Qingyi River, Leshan Giant Buddha is sitting faced with Leshan City across the river. It is no doubt the largest cliff rock carving Maitreya Buddha statue in the world. The total height of the Buddha is 71 meters. Its head is 14.7meters high and 10 meters wide and its ear only is 7meters high. Its insteps can hold over a hundred people.

Wuhou Temple (Need tickets)Wuhou Temple, also known as Wuhou Shrine Temple of Marquis, is dedicated to Zhuge Liang, Zhuge Liang was an excellent politician, militarist, diplomat and astronomer. In addition, the Temple of Liu Bei, the emperor of Shuhan, and his mausoleum are well-known historical sites inside this big scenic spot. During the Three Kingdoms period of China from the year 220 until 280, China was divided into three empires that were warring to conquer each other: the Wu, Wei and Shu Kingdoms. The area around the ancient city of Chengdu was a part of the Kingdom of Shu. Liu Bei was the Shu Kingdom's first emperor, and he needed Zhuge Liange to help him govern.

Your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel at 8:00 am to start the full day trip. You will first visit the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda, also known as Panda Base, because the pandas are very active in the morning. There you will see lovely furry giant pandas of all ages eating and playing with each other.

To provide you the flexibility to taste local food, lunch is left for your own arrangement. For the afternoon arrangement, it is flexible for you to decide. You may discuss with your tour guide about your thoughts based on the actual situation of traffic condition and time etc. Please choose one site from the following: 1. Leshan Giant Buddha 2. Three-Star Piles Museum (Sanxingdui Museum) 3. Dujiangyan Irrigation Project 4. Qingcheng Mountain 5. Qingyang Palace& Thatched Cottage of Du Fu 6. One of Chengdus most popular attractions, this panda park 18km north of the city centre is the easiest way to glimpse Sichuans most famous residents. Don't, however, make the mistake of thinking you'll be seeing wild pandas. They are kept in large enclosures and have a dedicated team of scientists and keepers tending to their every need. As well as living, breathing pandas, there are some fascinating panda information centres and museums explaining panda conservation and husbandry.

Home to nearly 120 giant and 76 red pandas, the base focuses on getting these notoriously love-shy creatures to breed and has been remarkably successful at it. March to May is the falling in love period (wink wink). If you visit during summer or autumn, you may see tiny newborns in the nursery incubators.

When youre there, all you will hear is the sounds of water running, birds singing, the wind blowing through the lush green trees, and your own footsteps. It is the birth place of Taoism and is not only known in China as being one of the great mountains of Taoism but also as a world heritage site. The mountain is praised for being one of the most peaceful places under heaven. When youre there, all you will hear is the sounds of water running, birds singing, the wind blowing through the lush green trees, and your own footsteps. You will take the cable car up the mountain very quickly and hike up about 30 minutes to get to the summit. Here you will have a bird's eye view of the mountain. The Tour time is about 4 hours.
