With the theme of Buddhism, the Dazu cliffside carvings are distributed in Beishan, Baodingshan, Nanshan, Shimenshan and Shizhuanshan. You will spend the day visiting the Baodingshan carvings located about 527 meters above sea level. It consists mainly of the Dafowan rock carvings area and the Xiaofowan rock carvings area.

There are green buses taking you to Baodingshan directly. There are about 10,000 statues of Buddha carved on the 500 meter cliff in the U-shaped Dafowan. It is said to be a long narrative mural with plenty of commentary but no repeated content.

After 3 hours driving we'll arrive at the tourist reception center.
Upon arrival we need to take interior shuttle bus, which is mandatory for enviromental preservation. The ticket for both the national park and shuttle bus should be purchased here.
After a 10 min bus ride we get to our primary site-natural born triple bridge.
The admission fare covering both Wulong Geological National Parkand the interior shuttle bus ride is 155 yuan per adult.
Chongqing-Wulong 192 km 3 hour's driving.4 hours -Admission Ticket Not Included2: Wulong Tiankeng Three BridgesThen move to Tiankeng(A giant sinkhole,also named the natural triple bridge), the primary sector of Wulong Karst Geological National Park. It's actually a grand valley throughs 3 ridges with naturaly formed sink holes, look just like 3 huge bridges. It's also the only site listed on World Heritage List by UNESCO.
We firstly will take an 108 meters high cliff side viewing elevator to get down to the bottom Then we take a hiking tour through the giant sinkhole links all scenic spots including movie scenes of Transformer IV. The highlight is unique and magnificent natural landscape.

Dazu rock carvings is a massive ancient Buddhsim stone carving was built in Song dynasty, 800 years old. Over 10'000 statues were carved on vertical cliff, pretty much represents Chinese ancient religious art style and carving skill. Meawhile it's also functions like a Buddhism institute and holy site bring prayers and redemption to all Buddists.
In 1999 Dazu Rock Carvings were inscribed on World Heritage List by UNESCO.
