1: Li River

Begin your day early in the morning as we pick you up at your hotel lobby at 8:00am and take you to the Mopan hill Pier. From there, embark on your Li River cruise trip from Guilin to Yangshuo on our comfortable boat.

Relax on the boat and take in the majestic scenery of the Li River. Glide along the water, with the hills and the rugged nature around you on all sides. Yangti Dyke (Pass by)

Yangdi Village is located on the west bank of the Li River, about 50km (31 miles) from Guilin, and 40km (25 miles) north of Yangshuo County. Behind the village lies a hill consisting of twin peaks, which look like two sheep hoofs hanging upside down. Hence the village gets its name Yangdi, which has a harmonic tone with 'Yangti', the Chinese expression for 'sheep hoofs'.

Jiuma Mountain (Pass by)

Mural Hill(Jiuma Mountain), also known as Nine Horses Fresco Hill, is an attraction you can never miss if you visit Li River. It is located on the west bank of Li River, about 60 km (37 miles) from Guilin and close to Xingping Town. Facing the broad and peaceful watercourse is a large and steep stone cliff which looks like a huge painted screen. Backed by mountains and consisting of five peaks, Mural Hill is an assemblage of weathered rocks in yellow, white, black, grey and green colors. Looking from a distance the mottled cliff face resembles a huge piece of mural with images of nine horses in various poses.

Xianggong Mountain (Pass by)

In the beginning, Xianggong Mountain was merely an obscure small karst hill on the west bank of Li River in Yangshuo County of Guilin. A few years ago, a local photographer took some pictures on the top of this mountain and won the bronze prize in an international photography contest, making Xianggong Mountain famous overnight. From then on, it became a popular tourist destination beloved by enthusiastic photographers.

Xingping Town (Pass by)

Once, in ancient times, Xingping Town was the largest town along the Li River, and is 63 km (39 miles) from Guilin and 25 km (15.5 miles) from Yangshuo, on the east bank of the river. The town is really a beautiful place, surrounded by enthralling scenery. Both Mural Hill and Yellow Cloth Shoal belong to this scenic area.

Xingping Fishing Village (Pass by)

Lying on the east bank of the Li River upstream from Yangshuo, the fishing village has a history dating back more than 500 years. Founded during the Ming Dynasty in 1506, this picturesque village is infused with typical Lingnan or southeastern Chinese provincial culture.

There are 48 traditional residences that have been remarkably well preserved throughout the years. Special features of these residences include blue brickwork, black tiles, sloping roofs, horse head walls, cornices and carved windows. The houses are classic examples of Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynastic architecture.

2: West Street

After the river cruise, we will visit the Yangshuo West street for 30 minutes.

West Street is the oldest street in Yangshuo with a history of more than 1,400 years. Situated at the center of Yangshuo County, the street has become, since the 1980's, a window of eastern and western culture and the biggest 'foreign language center' in China. It is the most prosperous district in Yangshuo, and, each year, approximately 100,000 foreigners come here on their travels or to attend advanced studies. Visitors are attracted to West Street by its unique mix of cultures.

The West Street is 517 meters (1,696 feet) long and 8 meters (26 feet) wide, meandering in an 'S' along its length. Being completely paved with marble it is a typical example of a southern China street. It is greatly admired by foreigners for its simple style and courtyard-like setting. There is a saying about it that 'half is village while the other half is stores'.

Yangshuo Park (Pass by)

Yangshuo Park is located in Yangshuo, covering an area of 230 thousand sq m (271 thousand sq yd). The park has both a big and a small gates. They are carved with the parks name in Chinese by famous calligraphers. There are plenty of osmanthus trees and bamboos in the park, providing a peaceful and secluded environment for visitors. Double Moon Stream runs through the park and the park is surrounded by marvelous mountains. Many locals do exercise and play Chinese chess in the park.

3: Yulong River

Yulong River, also called Little Li River, rises in Lingui County in Yangshuo. The river is about 43 kilometers (26 miles) long, with a drainage area of approximately 158 square kilometers (39,043 acres). The part of the river that stretches from Yulong Bridge in Baisha Town, to Gongnong Bridge near Big Banyan Tree along the Ten-Mile Gallery, is known as the Yulong River Scenic Area, and includes some spectacular scenic views along each river bank.

4: Yulong Bridge

When we arriving in the Dragon village then we will visit the Yulong(Dragon) bridge for a while.

The Chinese word 'Yulong' refers to 'meeting a dragon'. Local legend has it that a dragon from the East Sea strolled across the Yulong River and, being deeply impressed by the attractive landscape, decided to stay there forever. The villagers living on the river bank saw the dragon several times, and hence the river is named so.

WHAT TO EXPECT

1: Li River

Your guide pick you up at your hotel lobby at about 08:30 am. Enjoy the 1-hour drive to Zhujiang Dock to board one of the best cruises on the Li River. As the ship departs from Guilin at about 9:30 am your fantastic cruise journey starts. Your guide will escort you on board and give you an introduction to the different sites along the way. Once you are there, you would find out what it means by "picturesque"!

Around noon, have a simple lunch offered onboard by the cruise company and continue the cruise. The cruise will arrive in Yangshuo after approx. 4 hours.

The Ruyi Peak, this is new spot is spectacular for the ropeway(3km away from Moon hill and on the way to the Silver Cave). WHAT TO EXPECT

After morning pickup from your central Guilin hotel, travel to the Zhujiang Pier or Mopanshan Pier.

Board your boat, and settle in the enclosed cabin or on the outdoor deck for your approximately 4-hour River Li cruise. The duration will depend on weather and river levels.

Then, admire the magical landscapes as you cruise the winding waters, following a 34-mile (54-kilometer) route to Yangshuo. Gaze at karst pinnacles, bamboo groves, emerald pastures, and steep cliffs, all of them echoing traditional Chinese landscapes.

The Xianggong Mountain is located on the west bank of Li River between Huangbu Shoal and Nine-Horse Mural Hill. After the Xianggong hill, you will transfer to the Ruyi Peak, this is new spot is spectacular for the ropeway(3km away from Moon hill and on the way to the Silver Cave). With a total length of 2.3km, Ruyi Peak Ropeway adopts advanced equipment from POMA Company of France, using 8-passenger detachable mono-cable gondola lift, with elevation difference of 242m, horizontal distance of 1800m, and single way capacity of 2000Ppl/hr. Take this Li River cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo which is the highlight of any trip to northeastern Guangxi Province. Yangti Dyke (Pass by)

Yangdi Village is located on the west bank of the Li River, about 50km (31 miles) from Guilin, and 40km (25 miles) north of Yangshuo County. Behind the village lies a hill consisting of twin peaks, which look like two sheep hoofs hanging upside down. Hence the village gets its name Yangdi, which has a harmonic tone with 'Yangti', the Chinese expression for 'sheep hoofs'.

Jiuma Mountain (Pass by)

Mural Hill(Jiuma Mountain), also known as Nine Horses Fresco Hill, is an attraction you can never miss if you visit Li River. It is located on the west bank of Li River, about 60 km (37 miles) from Guilin and close to Xingping Town. Facing the broad and peaceful watercourse is a large and steep stone cliff which looks like a huge painted screen. Backed by mountains and consisting of five peaks, Mural Hill is an assemblage of weathered rocks in yellow, white, black, grey and green colors. Looking from a distance the mottled cliff face resembles a huge piece of mural with images of nine horses in various poses.

Xingping Town (Pass by)

Once, in ancient times, Xingping Town was the largest town along the Li River, and is 63 km (39 miles) from Guilin and 25 km (15.5 miles) from Yangshuo, on the east bank of the river. The town is really a beautiful place, surrounded by enthralling scenery. Both Mural Hill and Yellow Cloth Shoal belong to this scenic area.

Xingping Fishing Village (Pass by)

Lying on the east bank of the Li River upstream from Yangshuo, the fishing village has a history dating back more than 500 years. Founded during the Ming Dynasty in 1506, this picturesque village is infused with typical Lingnan or southeastern Chinese provincial culture.

There are 48 traditional residences that have been remarkably well preserved throughout the years. Special features of these residences include blue brickwork, black tiles, sloping roofs, horse head walls, cornices and carved windows. The houses are classic examples of Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynastic architecture.

2: West Street

After the river cruise, we will visit the Yangshuo West street for 30 minutes.

West Street is the oldest street in Yangshuo with a history of more than 1,400 years. Situated at the center of Yangshuo County, the street has become, since the 1980's, a window of eastern and western culture and the biggest 'foreign language center' in China. It is the most prosperous district in Yangshuo, and, each year, approximately 100,000 foreigners come here on their travels or to attend advanced studies. Visitors are attracted to West Street by its unique mix of cultures.

The West Street is 517 meters (1,696 feet) long and 8 meters (26 feet) wide, meandering in an 'S' along its length. Being completely paved with marble it is a typical example of a southern China street. It is greatly admired by foreigners for its simple style and courtyard-like setting. There is a saying about it that 'half is village while the other half is stores'.

Yangshuo Park (Pass by)

Yangshuo Park is located in Yangshuo, covering an area of 230 thousand sq m (271 thousand sq yd). The park has both a big and a small gates. They are carved with the parks name in Chinese by famous calligraphers. There are plenty of osmanthus trees and bamboos in the park, providing a peaceful and secluded environment for visitors. Double Moon Stream runs through the park and the park is surrounded by marvelous mountains. Many locals do exercise and play Chinese chess in the park.

3: Xianggong Mountain

After the West street, we will head to the XIanggong hill and need 40 mins driving and 450 Steps to reach the top of the hill.

In the beginning, Xianggong Mountain was merely an obscure small karst hill on the west bank of Li River in Yangshuo County of Guilin. A few years ago, a local photographer took some pictures on the top of this mountain and won the bronze prize in an international photography contest, making Xianggong Mountain famous overnight. From then on, it became a popular tourist destination beloved by enthusiastic photographers.

The Longsheng Hot Spring National Park, it is about 2 hours away from Guilin center or 2.5hrs driving from Yangshuo. Covering an area of 260 hectares (about 642 acres), the park boasts a dense forest with rare animals and plants, as well as its natural hot springs. The best known attractions in the park are the sixteen hot springs Varity with different size and functions. These springs spout over 1,200 meters from underground river at water temperatures ranging from 45C (113F) to 58C (136F). The waters contain various elements including zinc, manganese, lithium, strontium and iron that are beneficial to health. Bathing in the springs is not only good for your heath, but reputedly, can alleviate diseases such as rheumatism as well as certain skin problem. Unlike other hot springs, the water here is purifying that can be drunk directly from the source. It is a modern complex which offers a range of baths, massage services, saunas and swimming pools.

1: Li River

Join us on the Li River cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo with the 4 star luxury boat VIP room- the centerpiece of any trip to northeastern Guangxi Province. Gorgeous Karst peaks give you a surprise at each bend of the limpid river under the blue sky. With its breathtaking scenery, life on the river is a taste of a life far removed from the concrete metropolis.

Note: The VIP seating is at the front of the boat on the upper deck in a slightly enclosed area. It has the best inside views lookingdirectly out the front of the Li river during the cruise and there are only 12 x tickets per boat available.

Your day will begin with a pick-up at 07:40am in the morning from the hotel in Guilin. From here you will travel to Zhujiang pier, where you will board the boat. Yangti Dyke (Pass by)

Yangdi Village is located on the west bank of the Li River, about 50km (31 miles) from Guilin, and 40km (25 miles) north of Yangshuo County. Behind the village lies a hill consisting of twin peaks, which look like two sheep hoofs hanging upside down. Hence the village gets its name Yangdi, which has a harmonic tone with 'Yangti', the Chinese expression for 'sheep hoofs'.

Jiuma Mountain (Pass by)

Mural Hill(Jiuma Mountain), also known as Nine Horses Fresco Hill, is an attraction you can never miss if you visit Li River. It is located on the west bank of Li River, about 60 km (37 miles) from Guilin and close to Xingping Town. Facing the broad and peaceful watercourse is a large and steep stone cliff which looks like a huge painted screen. Backed by mountains and consisting of five peaks, Mural Hill is an assemblage of weathered rocks in yellow, white, black, grey and green colors. Looking from a distance the mottled cliff face resembles a huge piece of mural with images of nine horses in various poses.

Xianggong Mountain (Pass by)

In the beginning, Xianggong Mountain was merely an obscure small karst hill on the west bank of Li River in Yangshuo County of Guilin. A few years ago, a local photographer took some pictures on the top of this mountain and won the bronze prize in an international photography contest, making Xianggong Mountain famous overnight. From then on, it became a popular tourist destination beloved by enthusiastic photographers.

Xingping Town (Pass by)

Once, in ancient times, Xingping Town was the largest town along the Li River, and is 63 km (39 miles) from Guilin and 25 km (15.5 miles) from Yangshuo, on the east bank of the river. The town is really a beautiful place, surrounded by enthralling scenery. Both Mural Hill and Yellow Cloth Shoal belong to this scenic area.

Xingping Fishing Village (Pass by)

Lying on the east bank of the Li River upstream from Yangshuo, the fishing village has a history dating back more than 500 years. Founded during the Ming Dynasty in 1506, this picturesque village is infused with typical Lingnan or southeastern Chinese provincial culture.

There are 48 traditional residences that have been remarkably well preserved throughout the years. Special features of these residences include blue brickwork, black tiles, sloping roofs, horse head walls, cornices and carved windows. The houses are classic examples of Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynastic architecture.

2: West Street

After the river cruise, you will have a 4hrs free time at the Yangshuo area, you can rest at the West street or do something else.

West Street is the oldest street in Yangshuo with a history of more than 1,400 years. Situated at the center of Yangshuo County, the street has become, since the 1980's, a window of eastern and western culture and the biggest 'foreign language center' in China. It is the most prosperous district in Yangshuo, and, each year, approximately 100,000 foreigners come here on their travels or to attend advanced studies. Visitors are attracted to West Street by its unique mix of cultures.

The West Street is 517 meters (1,696 feet) long and 8 meters (26 feet) wide, meandering in an 'S' along its length. Being completely paved with marble it is a typical example of a southern China street. It is greatly admired by foreigners for its simple style and courtyard-like setting. There is a saying about it that 'half is village while the other half is stores'.

3: Impression Sanjie Liu

Your guide will meet you at 18:30pm of the Yangshuo west street area then head to the show. The light show lasts for 70 mins(19:30--20:40pm) and we back to the Guilin hotel around 22:30pm(21:00--22:30).

The show of Impression Liu Sanjie can be regarded as one highlight of Yangshuo It is a night show which youve never seen. This is a virtual scenery performance. The largest difference from other shows is the water & hill scenery theater. It uses the waters of Li River as the stage, 12 hills as background. With the vast sky, it consists of the largest virtual scenery theatre in the world. As it is an outdoor theater and the scenes of show are combined with the natural sightseeing, tourist will find the show different season from season and day from day depending on changeable weather condition.

The Longji Rice Terraces offer some of the most fantastic scenery in China or indeed the world. Your driver-guide will pick you up at 9:00 am or at a time of your choice from the lobby of your hotel, Guilin Railway Station, Guilin Airport, Guilin city center, or any other designated location.

Please let us know your hotel name, and we will pick you up from anywhere within 20 kilometers of Guilin city.

2: Longji Rice Terrace Scenic Spot

After a two-hour drive, you will arrive at the Longji parking lot,where you can purchase entry tickets to the Longji Rice Terraces.

Next, you will head to the Pingan Rice Terraces, the most beautiful terraces, which were among the first to be discovered by tourists. From the Pingan parking lot, you will walk up to Viewing Platform No. 2 through the village via stone stairs. Along the way, youll observe the Zhuang peoples daily life and their traditional wooden houses. On reaching Viewing Platform No. 2, youll be greeted by the iconic Seven Stars with the Moon formation.

From there, youll take a walk to Viewing Platform No. 1 along a flat path, passing bamboo groves, rice terraces, and stunning hill views. When you arrive at Viewing Platform No. 1, youll be rewarded with a breathtaking panoramic view of the Rice Terraces.

Afterward, you will enjoy a Chinese lunch at a local restaurant, then you can visit Huangluo honghair village to see the local people s daily life.

3: Guilin

After a wonderful day tour of the Longji Rice Terraces, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Guilin. The journey takes about 2 hours, during which you can take a nap and relax. You will arrive at your Guilin hotel around 5:30 pm.

1: Guilin

At 9am, your tour guide and driver will sign yor name and meet you at the hotel lobby. After 1.5hrs driving, you will arrive in Longji tickets office and you will stop there to purchse the ticket then use the car again to the Dazhai village.

2: Longji Rice Terraces

After a two-hour drive you will reach the entrance for the Longji Terraces and stop for 15 minutes and then head to Dazhai village.
The Dragon's Backbone Rice Terraces is a splendid agricultural spectacle with a history of more than 650 years. The most eye-catching part of the terrace cluster is the Ping'an Village Rice Terrace, which was the earliest one discovered by tourists and photographers. Numerous narrow rice fields dug along the hill slopes form terraces connected by winding flagstone trails. There are viewing platforms for visitors to view the entire terrace fields built tier upon tier. While you are there you can also experience the minority Zhuang people's traditional way of life. It is quite interesting to help them in the fields, try on their bright-colored ethnical costumes, and visit their unique stilted houses.

Jin Zhu Zhuang Nationality Village (Pass by)

Jinzhu Zhuang Village is located in Longsheng County, Guilin trips Golden Village, Heping Township, 16 km south-east from the county, and the world must Longji terrace adjacent to an area of 50,000 square meters, construction area of 35,000 square meters, Zhuang population 154 people. Golden Bamboo Village is a typical Zhuang Zhuang village, which has a distinctive architectural style Zhuang, 92, was hailed as a UNESCO Zhuang Village model, golden bamboo Zhuang Terraced Fields as its gateway to the scenic and famous overseas.

Ping'an Village (Pass by)

Ping'an Zhuang Village accommodates more than 50 families with over 200 people. Most of them are Zhuang people and some are Yao people. The Zhuang minority nationality is the main nationality in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. One third of the population in Guangxi is comprised of the Zhuang people.

3: Longji Mountain

After the 40 miuntes driving from the tickets office, we will reach the Dazhai village, from there we will use the cable car to the No.3 view point and via the cable car, the tourists can skip the hours' climb and easily reach the top (Golden Buddha Peak) in less than 20 minutes to have the overlooks of the most rice terraces.

Note: From Longji tickets office to Dazhai, we will pass some local village villages, like the Jinzhu village and Huangluo Long hair village, but we should go to the cable car first because after the lunch(12:30pm), will have lot of tourists come to the cable car, so we can avoid the rush hour.

In Guilin city, the hotel collection and drop-off area should be within the following area: the north side is Beijiguangchang/, the west side is West Hill Park/, the east side is Sanlidian Square/ and the south side is Wonderful Plaza/. Most of the major hotels are located in these areas such as The Sheraton Hotel, The Shangri-la Hotel, The Li River Waterfall Hotel and Guilin Bravo Hotel etc.
For further distances, you need to hire a taxi to the appointed hotel which your tour guide will tell you the day before the trip.

WHAT TO EXPECT

1: Longji Rice Terraces

Your guide will be waiting for you in your hotels lobby or other appointed location at the agreed time, which is usually 8 am. Youll join a group with no more than 10 members, which is a great size to ensure you enjoy a better travel experience.

Longji Terraced Fields is located in Longsheng county of Guilin city, covering 6 villages with a history of more than 2,000 years. The local Zhuang and Yao people have been farmed this mountainous fields day after days and year after years for their hard living. The Ancient Zhuang Village is the origin of the Zhuang peoples terraced fields. The highest altitude of the village is about 1,300 meters while the lowest altitude here is 350 meters. The terraced fields here look magnificent!

After admiring the beautiful terraced fields scenery in the viewpoint of Slender Ditch you will hike to another famous village Pingan Village from here. This hike takes about 1 hour to complete about 8 kilometers' distance.

2: Ping'an Village

After lunch, youll start a visit to the most famous village in Longji Pingan Village. Youll see the most beautiful and magnificent terraced fields scenery in Longji! Many world-awarding pictures were taken in this village.

After visiting the Seven Star with Moon viewpoint we'll interview an old Yao lady with long hair come from another village nearby to discover another ethnic group the Yao people with red clothes and their featured long hair culture for women. In their culture girls only allow having their hair cut for two times in their whole life.

After interviewing the Yao lady, you'll go to the most beautiful viewpoint Nine Dragons and Five Tigers. This viewpoint is absolutely the most highlight of the day!

The Guilin English speaking tour guide and driver will pick you up from Guilin's hotel lobby on 9:00am in the morning, then explore sweeping views of the Li River and beautiful countryside from the splendid peak of Xianggong Hill, later on head down to the river for a trip aboard a bamboo raft that passes by the old village that rest from the water's banks, then you will arrive at Xianggong Hill after a enjoyable driving, climb the stone steps to the top. From there you can see an amazing view of the winding river carving its way through the surrounding peaks.

Then have lunch at a very authentic Chinese restaurant in the nearby village, which provides delicious and authentic Chinese food.

Then you will visit Yangdi Township, which is located at the edge of the Li River. WHAT TO EXPECT

After pickup at your hotel by your private guide, relax as you travel in a private climate-controlled vehicle with your guide to see the city's highlights.

Your half-day guided tour heads first to Fubo Hill. Known for both natural beauty and historic art, Fubo Hill stands next to the Li River and rises abruptly out of the surrounding landscape. Its peak measures 203 feet (62 meters) it offers sweeping views of the countryside. Your guide takes you into the Returned Pearl Cave and the Thousand Buddha Cave to see etchings of Buddha dating back to the Song and Tang Dynasties (618 - 1279).

Next up, visit Reed Flute Cave, a natural limestone cave that is estimated to be 180 million years old. Stroll into cave chambers illuminated with multicolored lighting and admire the interior of stalactites, stalagmites and otherworldly rock formations.

Exit the cave, then stop at a pearl market before visiting the centerpiece of Guilins riverside park: Elephant Hill, located on the western bank of the Li River. Said to resemble an elephant drinking water, the peak affords panoramic views of the city, Li River and surrounding scenery. Enjoy a vigorous walk to the top before wrapping up your tour with drop-off at your hotel.
