1: The Grand Canyon of Zhangjiajie

Pick you up from your hotel in Zhangjiajie city or Wulingyuan town at 9am to the Grand Canyon of Zhangjiaie: it's about an hour from downtown Zhangjiajie or 40 minutes from Wulingyuan.

The Grand Canyon of Zhangjiajie scenic area covers around 37 square miles (60 square kilometers), and is rich with the dramatic karst landscapes of pillars, cliffs, gorges, and rock formations that have mesmerized visitors since time immemorial. Your guide will escort you to the main attractions, some by foot, and some by boat.

Marvel at vistas like One Line Sky, the Millennial Rattan, Chuangwang Pavilion, Rotten Ship Rock, the Bandit Hole, and more. Capture terrifying selfies perched high above the landscape as you learn about the history of the area, including the bloody battles fought between the 17th-century general Wu Sangui and the rebel leader Li Zicheng in the dying days of the Ming dynasty.

Take a cable car up to Tianzi Mountain, and you will see large areas of grotesque peaks thrusting up. Walking along the steps spectacular views unfold in front of you from different angles.

3: Yuanjiajie

In the afternoon, ride a public shuttle bus to Yuanjiajie Scenic Area, whose mountains are said to be the inspiration for Avatar's Hallelujah Mountain. This area is the most visited area due to its fame. It takes about 1 hour to walk the tourist trails, before you take the shuttle bus for the cable car down the mountain.

Your trip will come to an end around 5pm and you will be dropped back to your hotel in Zhangjiajie city center. Transfer to the train station for your departure train is also workable.

4: BaiLong Elevator

There is another option for getting down the mountain - Bailong Elevator. This glass elevator was built on the side of a cliff, and it claims to be the world's highest of its kind. It takes only 2 minutes, but at peak times you might need to queue one or two hours to take it. If you are interested in taking the elevator, tell your guide in advance, so that he/she can arrange beforehand to avoid the long queues.

The Ten-Mile Gallery in Zhangjiajie is located within the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park in Hunan Province, China. It is a valley approximately 5 kilometers long, where the scenery resembles a series of exquisite landscape paintings, hence the name "Ten-Mile Gallery."
The most famous attractions include the "Medicine-Gathering Old Man," the "Three Sisters Peaks," and the "Golden Whip Rock." Act 1
On a full moon night thousands of years ago, in the fox world in Tianmen Mountain, the supreme fox king would elect a new princess. The beauties transformed by the fox fairies were too charming, but the king fell in love with white fox fairy at the first sight. He gives the orb symbolizing power to her and announced his wedding in three days. However, the White Fox Fairy, who yearns for freedom and love, does not want such a life...

act 2
At dawn, the pure and happy human life fascinates the White Fox Fairy. Visiting the village, Liu Hai's bright smile and tolerant mind deeply moved the White Fox Fairy so much so that she was surrounded by villagers without even realizing it. At the critical moment, Liu Hai stepped forward and saved the White Fox Fairy from the trouble even if he was injured. Thus the two used the pigeon flower as a matchmaker and began a touching and strange love between man and fox...

Act 3
The lonely Liu Hai, approached the door of his house and found that there were invisible people cleaning up the messy home and cooking sweet rice. Through the bronze mirror, Liu Hai saw the white fox fairy on the moon. A red hijab fell from the sky, and Liu Hai personally covered it on the head of the white fox fairy in the mirror. Wulingyuan Scenic and Historic Interest Area , lying to the north of Zhangjiajie City, is a charming tourist attraction. It is one of the 40 famous scenic spots in China. It is said to be 'The ampliative miniascape and the contractible fairyland' and was admitted to the 'World Heritage List' in 1992.

Wulingyuan Scenic Area consists of four parts- Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Suoxi Valley Nature Reserve, Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve and the newly added Yangjiajie Scenic Area.

Today your tour will visit the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve area.

3: Tianzi Mountain

When you purchase the main park entrance tickets and you will take a shuttle bus(20 mins driving) to the Tianzi mountain cable station and need to walk up the 200 steps to reach the station.

4: Tianzi Mountain Clouds

After the 20 mins cable car ride, you will reach the top of the Tianzi mountain then we will take a shuttle bus again(5 mins driving) to the Tianzi Mountain central area which is provides stunning views of peaks, which rise one after another. It is known as 'the Monarch of the Peak Forest'. At the top of the mountain, visitors can see the full extent of the Wulingyuan Scenic Area. Beautiful scenes of the mountain greet visitors in different seasons. There are four wonders: the Sea of Clouds, the Radiance of the Moonlight, Rays of Sunshine and the Snow in winter.

WulongZhai (Pass by)

It is the highlighted scenic spots in Yangjiajie. One plateform and three gates must pb passed before reaching the top of the stockaded village. There are three peaks of the top of the village, where scenery far and near can be seen. This stockaded village is in a strategic position that is easy to defend and difficult to conquer, and has been the place where bandits have been entrenched.

Zhangjiajie Tianbofu Scenic Resort (Pass by)

Located in Yangjiajie Scenic Area, Zhangjiajie Tianbofu Scenic Reserve is both a magnificent and charming scenic reserve with many steep and angular cliffs. The fantastic scenes are hidden among the stone mountains and cliffs. Taking a visit here by walking on the stone path along the steep cliffs is both an exciting and adventurous experience.

5: BaiLong Elevator

After the Yuanjiajie(Avatar mountain), you will take a shuttle(15 mins driving) head to the Bailong Elevator.
Bailong Elevator is very magnificent. The total height of it is 335 meters (1099 feet), of which the running height is 326 meters (1069 feet). 154 meters (505 feet) of the total height is in the mountain wells and the rest of 172 meters (564 feet) was composed of steel derrick and other components. The Elevator includes three exposure sightseeing elevators running parallelly. Each elevator can take 50 passengers every time and the speed is 3 m / s (the speed has been accelerated to 5m / s since 2013). If the three elevators run simultaneously, the amount of one-way passengers will reach 4,000 per hour.

6: Golden Whip Brook

Golden Whip Stream (Jinbian Stream) is famous for its pristine water, its verdant mountains, its steep cliffs and its serene valley. As a veritable paradise for plants, its pathways are adorned by an abundance of flowers, trees, and grasses. And it is also a kingdom of animals. Golden Whip Stream is named after Golden Whip Crag, its landmark spot, and runs from Laomo Bay to Shui Rao Si Men(water-surrounded gates).
You will hiking around one hour along the Golden Whip Stream then take a shuttle go out of the park and back to the hotel.

1: Tianzi Mountain

Guide will meet you up in your hotel lobby at 9:00am(we will inform you if any change on pick up time according to local weather or other situation) , take you to zhangjiajie national forest park, you will take the park green bus get to Tianzi cable car station, visit imperial brush, Xihai stone forest, fairy lady present flowers. Take shuttle bus get to Laowuchang area , Laowuchang (sky garden),it is an undeveloped part of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, between Yuanjiajie and Tianzi Mountain. It is best reached by local hired van from Yuanjiaje, as it is well off the ordinary travel route.The scenery in the area is incredibly beautiful and overwhelming. Sun rise in Laowuchang is considered by photographers to be the must-shoot scene in Zhangjiajie.We can also see the 'Sky Field Garden' (Kongzhong Tianyuan ) is a small area of paddy fields, seemingly hanging on an outcrop surrounded by Zhangjiajies typical peaks. The paddy fields are farmed by local ethnic people.

2: BaiLong Elevator

After that take an eco -bus to Yuanjiajie area , where is a perfect location to have a panoramic view of the nature reserveyuanjuajie area , you can get some food here before exploring the Yusniajie area, then take about 1.5hours hiking to discover the Pillar of the Southern sky. It was used to inspiration for the famous "Hallelujah Mountains" seen in the Blockbuster movie, Avatar. Proceed to the platform or Forgetfulness to enjoy the nearby peak views and then walk across the NO. 1 Bridge under Heaven. Tour will finish by taking Bailong elevator to descend the mountain
