WHAT TO EXPECT

Guest will enjoy a wonderful boat ride stopping at two of our favorite snorkeling destinations, once we arrive everyone will be able to snorkel on the reef with Tropical fish, and other marine life for 45 minutes to an hour, then we will travel to another reef for the remainder of the tour. If snorkelers have had enough, the ladder is always down so guests can come back to the boat and enjoy drinks, snacks, and shade. We only take small groups for a more one on one, safe environment for our guests.
Our Boat Maximum 10 passengers, 2 crew, has a tour minimum of 4 guests. While this typically does not occur, there are occasions where we have to reschedule and we will work to rebook you during your stay.

This is a private one on one lesson where you will get the maximum attention with your own personal instructor. Once arriving at the beach, you will be sized up for gear with a foam top surfboard, reef walker surf shoes to protect your feet and a SPF surf shirt to protect against sun burn and surf rash. After getting outfitted with gear a hands on demonstartion will take place covering all the fundamentals of surfing, including proper technique and etiquette, the pop up method and a detailed on shore and in water safety briefing. WHAT TO EXPECT

Check in with your guide in the early morning at a pre-arranged location in Keauhou Bay. Your lifeguard-certified guides will start the trip with safety instructions and tips on paddling your kayak.

Then climb aboard your boat and paddle along the coast, stopping to explore sea caves and to search for the resident spinner dolphins that frequent the area. Youll take a break at two of the coasts best snorkeling spots, allowing you to slip beneath the waves to explore colorful coral, more than 50 species of fish and, if youre lucky, a variety of marine critters like Manta Rays, Hawksbill and Green Turtles, and Humpback whales (seasonal).

If you havent had your fill of adventure and activity, there will also be time for on-land exploring as well. Depending on the day and timing you may also get to check out local features like ocean blowholes, lava tubes, and local attractions like The Elevator and The Rings. More daring group members can even do some cliff jumping. Youll return to your starting point by the late morning, allowing to beat the afternoon heat.

Start your day with a morning adventure! We kayak along the coast as we head to the sea caves. Hawaiian spinner dolphins (Naia) are most commonly seen in the early morning, so look out for these amazing creatures.

We stop for snorkeling at one of our favorite spots that are rich with coral and over 50 kinds of colorful fish. Other critters that we sometimes encounter are manta rays, hawksbill and green turtles, and humpback whales. Conditions permitting, this tour offers sea caves, blowholes, The Elevator, The Rings, and more.

We specialize in taking very small groups (4 to 8 people avg) to ensure a safe, full, and unhurried experience. Space is very limited, so please book early. No experience necessary. We provide high-quality equipment and very stable kayaks. Experienced Guides are Lifeguard/First Aid trained. We offer clear and full instructions on paddling and water safety. No, our buggies are only allowed on paved roadways and parking lots. Our buggies are equipped with GPS tracking devices, so we will be notified as soon as the buggy enters onto a dirt or lava road. There is a $500.00 charge for attempting "off road" excursions.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Your adventure begins by meeting your crew at the harbor in Kona. To save you the hassle of bringing lots of equipment with you, snorkeling gear, a floatation device, and lunch are all provided.

After getting on the boat, the trip begins with a ride into Kealakekua Bay. During your ride, learn all about Captain Cook and the areas link to Hawaiian royalty.

After getting to a great snorkeling spotwith an expert crew to take you to a place where marine life has been spotted beforeyou can hop off and go snorkeling, or stay on the boat if you booked the non-snorkeling option. Look out for dolphins, coral reefs, and colorful fish along the wayand maybe even Humpback whales if its wintertime.

Then, round off your adventures with a light lunch of fruit and sandwiches before a scenic journey back along the volcanic coast to the harbor.

Cruise coastline and explore sea caves and other historical areas where ancient Hawaiians made history and created legends. WHAT TO EXPECT

This dinner cruise has all the components of a true Hawaiian experience, from traditional music, food, and gorgeous sunset views, helping you make the most of your visit to The Big Island and Kealakekua Bay.

Youll meet your guide and group at the easy to locate departure point in Kailua-Kona, and then get settled on your catamaran. With live Hawaiian music playing and a complimentary cocktail in hand, youll sail along the Big Island of Hawaii's west coast until you reach Captain Cooks Monument in Kealakekua Bay. Your guide, a local historian, will share insider facts and stories about all the places youll pass by- a much richer experience than any guide book could offer.

Youll also enjoy dinner with local favorites that can include Mauna Loa macadamia nuts, Kona coffee braised short ribs, and several other dishes highlighting local produce and suppliers. You can choose vegetarian options, too (with 48 hours advanced notice). Finally youll enjoy a decadent dessert.

Boarding is 30 minutes prior to departure. Guests are greeted with Island Style Pupus (Appetizers), a complimentary cocktail, Historical Narration and live Hawaiian style music.

Cruise 24 miles round trip along Kona's Gold Coast learning Hawaiian history, stories, and legends. The narrator will point out many landmarks along the way to Kealakekua Bay that are not visible from land. The narration concludes upon arrival to the bay and dinner is served. The cruise back to the Kailua Pier features live Hawaiian style music, gorgeous vistas of the Kona coastline and sunset.
