Trip Summary

  • Delhi

Delhi is divided in two, New Delhi (the national capital) and Old Delhi, the ancient metropolitan city which sits on the banks of the Yamuna River. A city of contrasts featuring architecture that ranges from the 10th-century Hindu-Rajputana to the 17th century Mughal and 20th-century British influences. Old Delhi is dominated by the grand bazaar of Chandni Chowk set inside the ancient walls of the sprawling Red Fort. The city has a large arts and crafts industry with markets solely dedicated to certain products such as The Spice Market, The Gold and Silver Market and The Handicrafts Market.

Visit the Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Old Delhi, Lodi Gardens, Parliament House, Chandni Chowk, Laxminarayan Temple, Khan Market, ISKCON Temple, Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple, India Gate, and so much more.

  • Chennai (Madras)

A city of contrasts and diversities, Chennai (known until the 1990's as Madras) is a coastal city and one of the largest metropolitan areas in the world. It hosts a large cultural event, the Madras Music Season, annually; it is home to a vibrant theatre scene; and is an important center for the Bharatanatyam, a classical dance form. Moreover, from the resplendent classical dance form of bharatnatyam to the rich flavours of its iconic cuisine and from the lustrous silk sarees traded here to the gorgeous temples and churches, Chennai is the gatekeeper of South Indian art, culture and traditions.

Visit and explore Marina Beach, Government Museum, Kapaleeshwarar Temple, Fort St. George, Edward Elliot's Beach, Santhome Cathedral Basilica, Guindy National Park, Valluvar Kottam, and so much more.

  • Goa

The former Portuguese colony of Goa is one of the most relaxed and beautiful places in India. Renowned for its beaches, Goa is visited by hundreds of thousands of tourists each year. Some of the best beaches are found in Anjuna, Calangute and Colva. Goa is also well known for its temples and UNESCO World Heritage-listed architecture including the Basilica of Bom Jesus in Old Goa, which makes it one of the biggest Christian pilgrimage sites in Asia. If visitors are looking to soak in that typical hippie vibe or enjoy water sports, North Goa is the place to be.

Discover Dudhsagar Falls, Aguada Fort, Basilica of Bom Jesus, Anjuna Beach, Calangute Beach, Colva Beach, Dona Paula Beach, Chapora Fort, Sé Catedral, and so much more.
