Pickup from your centrally located hotel in Udaipur at 10am and you will embark on a 2-hour drive to Ranakpur.

Arrive in Rankpur and visit the Jain Temples at Ranakpur, superbly preserved in a near-perfect condition for over 500 years. The most attractive features are the 29 halls of the temple, which have 1444 pillars of which no two are like. The temple is an eloquent testimony to India's cultural heritage, her unique architecture and the vision and acumen of her past master artists.

The ambience of Ranakpur is mainly highlighted by the location and the almost divine architecture, giving the same hue as its counterpart - the great Dilwara Temple in Mt-Abu. This temple is the realization of the vision and endeavors of four great and devout seekers Acharya Somasundatsuri Dharanashah, the Minister to Kumbha Rana, Rana Kumbha, and Depaa, the architect who made the realization of the dream possible.

Overall, Ranakpur is known as "a tranquil town of pilgrimage."

The Crystal Gallery houses a rare collection of crystals that Maharana Sajjan Singh ordered from F&C Osler & Co in England in 1877. The Maharana died before the collection arrived, and all the items stayed forgotten and packed up in boxes for 110 years. They were put on public display in 1994.

The royal collection includes a number of objets dart, dinner sets, perfume bottles, decanters, glasses, washing bowls and even furniture. There is a priceless Flora Danica dinner service that bears the royal insignia of the House of Mewar. Of the original Flora Danica service pieces delivered in 1803, 1,530 survive to the present day.

Next drive to Lake Pichola for a boat ride at sunset. Enjoy the view of the luxurious Lake Palace hotel situated on the island of Jag Niwas. This is one of the hotels where the James Bond film, Octopussy, was shot. Originally built in 1743 by Maharana Jagat Singh II, the palace was restored and converted into a hotel in 1963.

Catch a glimpse of the Jag Mandir Palace that is situated on an island of the same name. The Palace also known as the Lake Garden Palace has an imposing entrance flanked by sculptures of eight elephants.

After morning pickup from your hotel or train station in Udaipur, explore the city with your private guide.

Ride in your private air-conditioned vehicle to Jagdish Temple, a 3-story temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and built in 1651. Continue to the City Palace, one of the largest palaces in the world. See the Crystal Gallery, which features furniture and utensils all made from glass.

At noon, take a boat ride on Lake Pichola, which is surrounded by bathing ghats and hills dotted with palaces and temples. After a 1-hour cruise, stop for a leisurely lunch at a recommended local restaurant.

In the afternoon, visit Saheliyon ki Bari, aka the Garden of Royal Ladies, made in the early 18th century as a summer palace and pleasure garden. A majestic architectural marvel towering over the lake on a hill surrounded by crenellated walls, it is a conglomeration of courtyards, pavilions, terraces, corridors, rooms and hanging gardens. The main entrance is through the triple arched gate, the 'Tripolia' with eight marble porticos. The Maharana were weighed under the gate in the gold, the equivalent amount of which was distributed among the populace.

2: Jagmandir

Jagmandir is a palace built on an island on the Lake Pichola. Also called the Lake Garden Palace, the construction for this began in 1620 and was completed around 1652. The royal family used the palace as its summer resort and for hosting parties. The Palace had such an impact on Emperor Shah Jahan that it went on to become the inspiration for one of the most magnificent Wonders of the World, The Taj Mahal.

1: Sajjangarh Monsoon Palace

You will get picked up from your hotel in the city center. Accompanied by your guide, drive to Monsoon Palace. Named after Maharana Sajjan Singh, the Monsoon Palace is also known as Sajjan Garh Palace. Built on a hill top, the Monsoon Palace offers fantastic views of Udaipur, which had risen to prominence under the rule of Maharana Sajjan Singh. It is constructed with white marble with turrets, towers and pillars which depict beautiful motifs of leaves and flowers. Despite the beauty of the Monsoon Palace along with its unique rainwater harvesting techniques, the palace was slowly abandoned and has not been renovated. Not until very recently had the Monsoon Palace been opened to the public and it has now been added to the list of Udaipurs popular tourist destination. You will be picked up from your hotel in the early morning for your drive to Narlai, a village located between Udaipur and Jodhpur in Rajasthan.

Narlai lies at the base of a hillock crowned by a statue of an elephant. There are several Hindu and Jain temples. The temples of Adinath and Lord Shiva are the most prominent temples. The ceilings of these temples are decorated with fine murals. The centuries old village of Narlai at one time was an important royal hunting reserve.

Take a walk through Narlai Village with its maze of lanes, pass through the intricately and ornately carved Jain temples, and admire colorfully dressed ladies and men adorned in huge turbans. After discovering the village, enjoy lunch at a nearby restaurant. (lunch not included).

Get picked up at Udaipur Junction Railway Station, Bus Station, or your centrally-located hotel in Udaipur and leave for Jain Temple in Ranakpur. You can pick a departure time that suits your schedule.

After transferring from Udaipur, youll arrive at the Jain Temple of Ranakpur. Locals believe the temple was built in the 15th century under the direction of Seth Dharna Shah, who was a follower of Jainism and a businessman by profession. Shah constructed the temple with the help of Rana Kumbha, the King of Mewar who asked that the temple be named after him in exchange for his support.

Explore the four entrances leading to the temples main chamber, each of which leads to an idol of Adinath. Youll also have time to admire the five main pillars within the temple, each of which holds idols of various Tirthankaras. The biggest pillar, standing in the center of all others, holds an idol of Adinath.

1: City Palace of Udaipur

In the morning after breakfast at 9:00 am the driver will pick receive you and proceed for sightseeing of the City of Lakes Udaipur accompanied by guide.

City Palace Udaipur is the largest complex of Rajasthan on the bank of Pichola lake that has stunning grounds, pavilions and Garden Palace, peacock courtyards and many majestic places.

2: Jagdish Temple

17th AD a largest Hindu deity temple, situated in the heart of town, living Vishnu temple with devotees in morning and evening hours.

Then we drive to the Gangour Ghats, a walk through Lake Pichola Ghats step down to lake, temples passing through Bagore ki Haveli Heritage Buildings in city.

3: Lake Pichola

Boat ride at lake Pichola, a guided tour proceed additional to closely Lake Pichola. A man made largest lake of the town which is the center of attraction of the Udaipur city. Enjoy the mesmerizing view of the surroundings while enjoying the boat ride.
