Nagoya
Nagoya is the largest city in the Chubu Region, a manufacturing powerhouse and the birthplace of Toyota featuring cosmopolitan aspects such as incredible museums, significant temples, and its imposing castle. The city features an ideal location between Tokyo and Kyoto/Osaka which can easily be reached via the Shinkansen Bullet train. The city is full of vibrant green parks and offers visitors excellent shopping opportunities as well as a great foodie scene.

Kiso Valley
Kiso Valley is located in Nagano Prefecture and runs alongside the mountains of the Central Alps. An ancient trade route called the Kisoji was developed along the valley and served as an important means of commerce in the area. Additionally, a few post towns, particularly Magome, Tsumago and Narai, have been preserved to look as they did when they served travelers of the Nakasendo Trail. Visitors are able to enjoy the stone paths and wooden buildings of a bygone era.
