    The ancient temple town of Nagano was built around the Zenkoji Temple, which is one of Japan`s most popular temples. The popular city was also the host of the 1998 Winter Olympic Games which make it a great city for outdoor enthusiasts. Nagano is the gateway to the onsen and ski resorts in the nearby Japanese Alps and is a spectacular winter destination boasting some of the best skiing and snowboarding in the country. Visit and discover the great Zenkoji Temple, Togakushi Shrine, Mizuno Museum, Jigokudani Snow Monkey Park, Shibu Onsen, Nagano Olympic Stadium, Shiraito Falls, and so much more.

  • Kanazawa

    The charming city of Kanazawa is often overlooked when visiting Japan, it is one of the country`s jewels filled with ancient architecture, spectacular shopping districts and some of the best seafood in the country. The country boasts exciting museums to explore, ancient temples and Kanazawa`s Castle along with one of the top three Japanese Gardens in all the country at Kenroukeun.   • Shizuoka

The main city center is located around Shizuoka Station, while Shimizu and its port make up a secondary center, which was only recently merged into the city. Like the prefecture, the city is known for its tea leaves and scenic views of Mount Fuji.
