Our program offers an adventure up the Minochi Rivers stream, following the rivers flow until we reach the top. Fighting the strong current of the stream, climbing the mountain waterfalls, and even diving down into the waterfall lakes that lie down at the basins of the roaring Minochi a countless number of fun events await. There are also natural slides that lead down to the water pools underneath, and a few participants might even chicken out when they see just how high up the dive from the top of the waterfall is! Lets work together to cheer on and help out each other as we take on the challenges that stand up before us! 1: Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum

Hiroshima's Peace Memorial Park (, Heiwa Kinen Ken) is one of the most prominent features of the city. Even visitors not looking for it will likely stumble upon the large park of over 120,000 square meters. Its trees, lawns, and walking paths are in stark contrast to the surrounding downtown area.

Before the bomb, the area of what is now the Peace Park was the political and commercial heart of the city. For this reason, it was chosen as the pilot's target. Four years to the day after the bomb was dropped, it was decided that the area would not be redeveloped but instead devoted to peace memorial facilities.

2: Hiroshima Castle

Hiroshima Castle (, Hiroshimaj), also called the Carp Castle, is a notable example of a castle built on a plain in the center of a city. Its grounds are surrounded by a moat, and the castle precincts include a shrine, historic ruins, and reconstructed Ninomaru (second bailey) buildings.

Built in 1589 by the powerful feudal lord Mori Terumoto, Hiroshima Castle was an important seat of power in Western Japan. Like the rest of the city, it was destroyed by the atomic bombing in 1945.

Please note that Hiroshima Castles main keep has been closed to the public since March 2026 due to safety concerns. The castle can still be viewed from the outside, while the Ninomaru buildings, Ninomaru Museum Shop, and Sannomaru area remain open to visitors.

5: Itsukushima Shrine

Miyajima () is a small island less than an hour outside the city of Hiroshima. It is most famous for its giant torii gate, which at high tide seems to float on the water. The sight is ranked as one of Japan's three best views.

While officially named Itsukushima, the island is more commonly referred to as Miyajima, Japanese for "shrine island". This is because the island is so closely related to its key shrine, Itsukushima Shrine, in the public's mind. Like the torii gate, the shrine's main buildings are built over water.

Miyajima is a romantic place, best enjoyed by staying overnight at one of the island's ryokan. While there are usually many day tourists, in the evening the area becomes much quieter and more peaceful. There are also wild deer on the island that have become accustomed to people. In the day the deer wander around the same sites as the tourists, and in the evening they sleep along the walking paths.

1: Atomic Bomb Dome

When Japan joined the UNESCO World Heritage Convention in 1992, people including a-bombed survivors began to raise their voice in support of making the A-bomb Dome a World Heritage Site.

A national campaign to collect signatures conducted by the citizens of Hiroshima was a success, and it was designated as a national historical site in June 1995 and registered on the list of World Heritage Sites in 1996 as a symbol calling for the abolition of nuclear weapons and for world peace.

2: Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park

On August 6, 1949, with enactment of the Hiroshima Peace Memorial City Construction Law, it was decided that the entire Nakajima District would be devoted to "peace memorial facilities," and that was the beginning of what is now Peace Memorial Park.
The park covers approximately 122,100 square meters. It was designed by Kenzo Tange, a professor at Tokyo University, and three others, whose proposal was selected through a design competition that drew 145 proposals.
At the south edge of the park is a line of three buildings: the East Building and the Main Building of the Peace Memorial Museum, and the International Conference Center Hiroshima.

3: Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum

Peace Memorial Museum. Consisting of two buildings, the museum surveys the history of Hiroshima and the advent of the nuclear bomb. Its main focus though is on the events of August 6: the dropping of the bomb and its outcome in human suffering. The personal details displayed are quite upsetting and serve to remind that we should not take peace for granted.

If Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum is closed, we will take you to visit Hiroshima National Peace Memorial Hall for the Atomic Bomb Victims instead.

4: Itsukushima Shrine Torii

The shrine is located in a small inlet, while the torii gate is set out in the Seto Inland Sea. Paths lead around the inlet, and visitors enjoy walking along them while looking out onto the sea. After sunset, the shrine and the torii gate are illuminated daily until 23:00, providing a perfect backdrop for ryokan guests to enjoy an evening walk in yukata and geta sandals. It is not possible to enter the shrine after sunset though. 1 hour is lunch time .
The mid-movement time is about 30 minutes.

The Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum is the largest of Hiroshima's sites related to the atomic bomb. Designed by renowned architect Tange Kenzo (1913-2005), the museum opened in 1955, and in 2006 it was designated an Important Cultural Property of Japan.

The museum consists of two adjacent buildings inside Peace Memorial Park. The main hall houses an extensive collection of artifacts from the time of the bombing, while the east building is focused on peace education through a variety of media. The main hall recently underwent major renovation, and its collection is now even more powerful and moving.
