Before performing an authentic tea ceremony, your personal instructor will explain a little about the steps involved in the ceremony, the utensils used and the importance of the rooms decoration and layout. Guests will enjoy a seasonal sweet with their tea, and there is plenty of time for asking questions and chatting with the host.
The experience ends with each guest having the opportunity to make their own bowl of frothy matcha, mastering the basics of tea making.

OVERVIEWOur studio is a traditional building has a history over 100 years in Kyoto, which is called Machiya in Japanese. You can experience making real weapons used by real ninjas. We will sharpen weapons and tempering the iron weapon, to make high quality steel weapons.

Choose to make a Shuriken or Kunai weapon, each which were used by ninjas. Put on a uniform before beginning your lesson.
Listen as your instructor shows you how to use each of the tools that are provided for you. Get step-by-step instructions on how to shape, sharpen, and personalize your weapon with a unique patten. Temper your weapon at a high temperature.
Have fun as you practice throwing the weapon for yourself. Visit the 2 lush gardens on the property where you can soak up the tranquility of this space or snap some nice photos. Finally, put your weapon in a beautiful box to take home as a unique souvenir.
You can choose between shuriken and kunai as your weapon of choice.
There is an additional charge of 3,000 yen for kunai only.
If there are many participants, the time may be extended by 10 to 30 minutes. Thank you for your understanding.
