Join us for a hands and feet on udon-making class at our authentic restaurant! You can enjoy the delicious udon you create right after the class.(Our chef cook for you) You can also enjoy making udon while sipping on Japanese sake or beer (Drinks are not included in the fee).

We teach Sanuki udon making, which the dough is kneaded with your feet. This creates a unique texture that is both firm and soft, much smoother than store-bought udon. You cant experience the delicious taste elsewhere. Its a fun activity for everyone, even those with no cooking experience. Both kids and adults will enjoy it. Our restaurant was featured in the Michelin guide from 2018 to 2023.

We will not ascend to the very top of Harukas, but we will go high enough to enjoy a breathtaking view of Osaka, free of charge. On a clear day, we may even glimpse all the way to Kobe and beyond. At the beginning of this class, wearing an apron and the class starts at making on your own sushi rice. Your instructor provides a wooden tub and paddle for each participant so that you can make your own sushi rice separately.

Next, everyone participates together to make rolled eggs for egg sushi with a rectangle-shaped frying pan. After that, making traditional Japanese broth Dashi then make Miso soup with fancy shaped vegetables and tofu.

Made with simple ingredients (white bean paste and glutinous rice flour), wagashi can be enjoyed by vegans and vegetarians alike!

In this wagashi-making class, you'll learn how to make nerikiri, one of the highest quality wagashi, typically used in the tea ceremony.
First, you'll learn how to make the dough from scratch. Next, you'll color the dough in delicate colors and then create beautiful decorative flowers from the dough.

WHAT TO EXPECT

1. Find your favorite Yulkata &Obi combination and that's your start for feeling real Japanese culture.
2. First, the instructor will show you how to wear it, then it's your turn to put on the yukata, get the lecture the basic technique.
3. Please enjoy photo shooting in yukata you put on.
(If you bring your own camera or phone I can be your photographer.)
4. Retuen the yukata set and have some tea break.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Learn to make restaurant quality tempura in this family-friendly cooking course. Join Max, a local restaurant owner, in Osaka for a special frying lesson. In this class you wont just learn how to make tempura, youll learn the techniques to recreate the full spectrum of Japanese cuisine. Make four mouth-watering dishes including shrimp, two seasonal vegetables, and a fried vegetable mix called kakiage. See anything on the list that you cant eat? Well, dont worry because Max can accommodate all of your dietary restraints as long as you let him know in advance. Enjoy this meal with a variety of traditional side dishes and special seasonal dessert before heading back out for more Osaka sightseeing.
