WHAT TO EXPECT

1. Meet our dive crew at 8.45am at Jesselton Point. Our location can be found online using Google Maps or Waze.

2. You will join a 1-day scuba diving tour guided by licensed professional PADI scuba instructor. Our boat departs at 9:00-9:10 AM so you must arrive before 8:30 AM in meeting point.

3. Once you arrive in meeting point, you will need to fill in registration form. When done, you will be guided to Jesselton Point jetty by walking on foot. (2-3 minutes walk). Once arrive in Jesselton Point jetty, our dive crew will introduce you to your instructor.

4. Once arrive in dive site (usually it will be Sapi House Reef in front of Sapi island) your instructor will delivers first morning briefing and will explains basics about scuba diving equipment and will teach you how to wear scuab diving gears properly, step by step.

5. You will do 1 shore dive in morning time and another 1 boat dive near coral reef area after lunch. Lunch will be served in island's restaurant. Bottled drinking water also provided in the boat.

6. We recommend you to continue to Open Water Course after the activity.

Pekan Nabalu is a rest station about 12km before Kinabalu Park along the main road from KK City. Its most prominent landmark is a 15-meter watchtower that overlooks Mount Kinabalu.

Poring is known for its hot sulphur spring bath which was first developed by the Japanese during world war II. The hot waters of the spring are piped into open-air baths. WHAT TO EXPECT

Your day learning about Borneo's primates begins with pickup from either the airport or your hotel in Sandakan hotel. If flying from Kota Kinabalu, you must arrange your own flights and it is suggested to book the 7am flight.

Once you meet up with your guide, climb into your air-conditioned vehicle and drive about 1.5 hours to the Labuk Bay Proboscis Monkey Sanctuary, located in a palm oil estate and dedicated to the conservation of these animals. At 11:30am watch the trained staff feed the monkeys their morning meal while learning about their biology and behavior.

Continue to the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Center in the Kabili-Sepilok Forest Reserve. Learn about the organization's mission to rehabilitate injured, rescued, and orphaned orangutans with the goal of returning them to the wild. Sit down for lunch, then watch a documentary on the center's work before heading out to watch the animals feed in the lowland rainforest. The trained staff will provide the orangutans with their favorite treats and you'll be able to watch them in action as they play and forage in the forest.

Return to Sandakan for hotel drop-off around 6:30 pm. If flying back to Kota Kinabalu, it is suggested you book the flight that departs at 6:10pm.

This privately owned sanctuary located within an oil palm estate gives you the chance to observe these animals up close and personal.

Mantanani Island is a group of three isolated islands northwest of Kota Belud, a one-hour drive from Kota Kinabalu. Although only approximately an hour's boat rides by speedboat from the mainland, the islands were only known to a few locals. Time slows down there amidst the crystal clear blue waters lapping on white sandy beaches. Three wrecks have been discovered which still hold plenty of secrets and are now home to a menagerie of marine creatures such as Lionfish, Scorpionfish, octopus, glassfish and many species of rays flutter around like blue spotted ray and marbled sting ray amongst large schools of fish. The coral reefs surrounding the islands have plenty to offer, for both novice and experienced diver even snorkeling too. A Rungus Longhouse is made up of 7 to 15 family apartments. Traditional longhouse house is build from wood, bamboo and atap (palm leaves). The roof is dry palm leaves of sago or nipah and needs to be replaced every 3 to 5 years.

Lun Bawang people are traditionally agriculturalists , rearing poultry , pigs and buffaloes. Lun Bawang are also known to be hunters & fishermen. Salt is obtain from evaporating brine from salt springs.

3: Poring Hot Spring and Nature Reserve

As you arrive at Poring, a must visit is the Treetop Canopy Walkway which 20 minutes hike is needed. Experience the height of 30-metres above the ground and length of 100 metres.
