Begin with pickup at your hotel in Kuala Lumpur city center (selected hotels only), then travel to the Menara KL, which stands 1,380 feet (421 meters) above Kuala Lumpur. Board a high-speed elevator to Atmosphere 360 Revolving Restaurant, at 905 feet (276 meters) above the ground, roughly 328 feet (100 meters) higher than the Petronas Towers Skybridge.

Youll have panoramic views from the restaurant as it slowly revolveswatch the city skyline, the Petronas Towers, and other landmarks drift by over the course of an hour. WHAT TO EXPECT

Meet a driver at your hotel for 7am departure, then board a climate-controlled vehicle for the 3-hour hour trip to Taman Negara, passing through a hilly landscape dotted with traditional villages.

Upon arrival at the park, get a birds-eye view of the forest from the worlds longest canopy walk, which stretches 1,739 feet (530 meters) through the treetops. Watch for wildlife along the way, and take in the sounds of the birds, monkeys, and insects that make their home in the forest.

After the canopy walk, head to the village of Kampung Kuala Tahan for an included lunch at the edge of the river, then keep exploring the parks fascinating wildlifeyou can hunt for insects, birds, monkeys, boar, or scorpions, with the chance to tailor the day to the things that interest you most.

Youll have the option to meet members of the aboriginal Orang Asli tribe, learning about their daily lives and culture, or learn some blowpipe and hunting skills. The tribe members speak their own languages, but the guide can help translate your conversation (visitors are asked to respect the tribe members by asking permission before taking photographs).

In the afternoon, board a long, wooden boat to shoot a series of seven rapids on the Sungai Tembeling river, then pause for tea at a floating restaurant before the return trip to Kuala Lumpur. This 10-hour trip concludes with drop-off at your hotel.

Upon arrival, we walk through the worlds longest (530m) and tallest (44m) suspension bridge (canopy walk) for the real different experience. There are plenty if steps to climb and the canopy walkway itself can swing around a bit with people walking on it, so you need to hold on the side and take some good picture from the top while you go along from platform on the trees

Begin with 4pm pickup at your hotel in Kuching, then transfer to Sarawak Boat Club, where your cruise departs. Board a boat for the trip along the shoreline, making your way to the mouth of the Santubong Riverwatch for Irrawaddy dolphins along this stretch, as they gather to feed in the Santubong River estuary.

Turn into the river, which is sheltered by thick stands of mangroves, then look for the proboscis monkeys that linger in the treetops: you cant miss their distinctive, long-nosed silhouettes in the evening light. Crocodiles begin to stir at dusk, and you can spot them by shining a flashlight at the edge of the river, where their eyes will shine just above the surface of the water.

As you go deeper into the trees, fireflies begin their nightly display, lighting up and blinking as they cluster around the mangroves. After their twinkling subsides, begin the return trip to Sarawak Boat Club. This tour concludes with drop-off at your Kuching hotel.

Make your way to the Batik Workshop Center, a short distance from the Kuala Lumpur Twin Towers, downtown attractions, and a range of transport options. You'll learn the basics of painting batik and follow the process from start to finish: start with an undyed fabric bag, and use wax to create your own custom pattern.

Traditional Malaysian batik uses a technique called wax-resist dying thats been practiced in Southeast Asia for hundreds of years, but Malaysian batiks have distinctive colors and patternstry something traditional, or create your own design from scratch. Choose your colors and learn to fill them in, or practice mixing primary colors into fully-customized secondary hues. When youve completed the painting, remove the wax to reveal the finished product. After the workshop, youll have access to a nearby garden café and batik gallery, and may take home your creation, a 100% calico cotton bag thats 13 inches (34 cm.) across.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Make your way to the Batik Workshop Center, a short distance from the Kuala Lumpur Twin Towers, downtown attractions, and transport. You'll learn the basics of painting batik and follow the process from start to finish: start with a piece of undyed fabric thats been pre-waxed with a pattern, choosing from a variety of different designs.

Traditional Malaysian batik uses a technique called wax-resist dying thats been practiced in Southeast Asia for hundreds of years, but Malaysian batiks have distinctive colors and patterns. Choose your colors and learn to fill them in, or practice mixing primary colors into fully-customized secondary hues. After the workshop, youll have access to a nearby garden café and batik gallery, and may take home your creation, a square cloth thats 7.8 inches (20 cm.) across.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Batu Caves is a limestone hill that has a series of caves and cave temples in Gombak, Selangor, Malaysia. It takes its name from the Sungai Batu, which flows past the hill.

Selayang Hot Spring is located on the left hand side of the trunk road as you travel from Jalan Ipoh towards the town of Rawang.

Firefly is a type of insect from the Beetle Family. The Pteroptye tener spicies are the largest species found in Kampung Kuantan. The fireflies here ar unique because of its tail that produces light. The light flash by each insect is at an accurate interval of 3 seconds.

Silver Leaf Monkeys at Bukit Malawati Hill (Local name Lutung - in Malay). It has grey-tipped, dark brown or black fur, giving it a uniform silvery appearance.

OVERVIEW

Cameron Highlands, Malaysia's premier hill resort, is located on the Main Range Peninsular Malaysia. At 1,829 metres above sea level, Cameron Highlands is the largest of all Malaysian Hill resorts and has a temperature ranging from 16 degrees celcius to 24 degrees celcius. Much of its appeal lies in the neat sprawling tea plantations that date back to 1929, as well as the terraced flower farms, strawberry farms and vegetable garden.

Cameron Highlands consists of series of little towns that include Ringlet, Tanah Rata, Brinchang, Tringkap, Kuala Terla and Kampung Raja. The total population is approximately 30,000 the majority of whom are employed in agriculture and the leisure industry. The best tourist amenities can be found around Tanah Rata, the administrative center of the highlands, but Brinchang is fast catching up with a number of hotels, service apartments and restaurants.
