Whatever your pleasure, transportation in Italy is modern, easy to navigate, and fits a variety of budget ranges. The best way to travel in Italy ultimately depends on your goals: Do you want to travel by train in Italy, or, maybe you want to visit as many cities as possible or explore the tiny villages dotted throughout the country; If so, driving may be the way to go.
By Car: Renting a car in Singapore is not necessary and just not convenient with all the public transportation options and the vast areas covered. You don`t need a car to get around here. It is not a popular option and can cost upwards of S$100 a day for a small car and gas prices are high. A rental company named Smove offers electric cars for rent in the Buona Vista area, There is around an S$19 registration fee and prices vary depending on the length of rental, you can rent an electric vehicle for 15 minutes to a full day. Other major rental car companies can be found at the airport and in the city.
By MRT: The efficient mass rapid transit (MRT) in Singapore is an extensive rail network linking the main attractions in the city, Stations are within walking distance to most major areas and it is one of the most comfortable, fastest, and easiest ways to get around. Trains run every 2-3 minutes from 5:30 am until midnight.
By Bus: The extensive bus system in Singapore provides a convenient way to get around. The bus services are clean, efficient, and prompt, and travel to every corner of the island. The two main companies are SBS Transit and SMRT both offering similar services and offer an online app with information on routes and timetables. Fares are relatively cheap around S$1 - S$2.10.
By Boat: Singapore is an island so getting around on a boat can be a popular option, rides down the Singapore River from point to point can cost approximately S$3 or longer cruises cost about S$13. You can get a shuttle boat to Pulau Ubin from Changi Village for around S$2.50. There are options to visit the Southern Islands of Singapore from the Marina South Pier. -
