3: Hahoe Mask Museum

Hahoe Mask Museum is located in Andong Hahoe Village, which is both a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Important Folklore Material No. 122. Hahoe Village is a representative traditional Korean folk town and is the home of the Hahoe Mask (National Treasure No. 121) and the Byeolsin Gut Mask Dance (Important Intangible Cultural Properties No. 69). The museum not only displays Hahoe masks, but also other traditional masks from all over the world.

4: Byeongsan Seowon

Byeongsanseowon is a Confucian school that was established by esteemed Confucian scholars to pay tribute to the memory of Seong-nyong Yu (1542-1607), who was well-respected for his writings and personality. His mortuary tablet is enshrined at this school. Around the time of 1863, Confucian schools enjoyed many freedoms under the Joseon rule, students and scholars of the school were exempt from taxation and other expenses. Byeongsan Seowon was one of 47 places in all of Korea and 2 in Andong not destroyed during the rule of Daewongun [Politician of Joseon Imperial family, 1820 ~ 1898] in 1868.

1: Jogyesa Temple

The Jogyesa Buddhist Temple is one of the most important landmarks of Korean Buddhism, first established all the way back in 1935. The temple is located in downtown Seoul and is graced by an ancient white pine tree. There are a few important steps to entering the temple.

First, you must go through Iljum, which is the one pillar gate. The Iljumun symbolizes the division between the world of the living and that of the holy Buddha world. You will have a beautiful spiritual experience and be able to admire the splendid, golden statues.

2: Gyeongbokgung Palace

* Please note that Gyeongbok Palace is closed on Tuesdays, so it will be substituted for pretty Changdeok Palace.

You will see the meticulously choreographed ceremony that takes place in front of Gwanghwamun Gate.

This tradition originated during the Joseon Dynasty and the city decided to bring it back for reenactment in 1996. The soldiers wear colorful blue and red uniforms and gracefully patrol the gates of the palace in protection of the king. The tradition is very elegant and simply beautiful to watch!

Gyeongbok Palace (Except Tuesdays)

It was first destroyed during the Imjin War between 1592 and 1598. Then, Imperial Japan destroyed a large portion of Gyeongbokgung Palace in the 20th century. The palace, however, has been restored time and again, and is now close to its former splendor!

Some of the highlights here are Gangnyeongjeon, the kings main quarters, Geunjeongjeon where the king accepted formal visits, Gyeonghoeru the special banquet hall, and more!

Start your evening with pickup from your central Seoul hotel in time for a 6pm departure, and watch the sunset over the city as you drive to your first stop Deoksu Palace (Deoksugung).

The striking palace is the only palace that is open for visits at night and the evening light adds a special air to your tour. As you explore the walled palace grounds, listen as your guide explains the meaning of its name the Palace of Virtue and Longevity and its importance as one of the Five Grand Palaces of the Joseon Dynasty kings. Along the way, see the Jonghwajeon (the main hall), the Junmyeongdang (Princess Deokhye's kindergarden), and the Western-style Seokjojeon; then stroll through the forested gardens and admire the statue of King Sejong the Great.

After leaving the palace, continue through the illuminated streets of central Seoul on foot, stopping to admire the beautiful City Hall on Seoul Plaza. 1: Deoksugung

You will be picked up from your hotel in Seoul at 6pm and will start the tour by visiting Deoksugung, or Deoksu Palace, which means Palace of Virtue and Longevity." The palace is a walled compound of palaces in Seoul that was inhabited by various Korean royalties until the colonial period around the turn of the 20th century. It is one of the "Five Grand Palaces" built by the kings of the Joseon Dynasty, and it is the only palace that you can visit at night. You will see many traditional Korean buildings, like Jonghwajeon (Deoksu Palace's main hall) and Junmyeongdang (Princess Deokhye's kindergarden). The palace also has a Western-style building called Seokjojeon. In addition to the traditional palace buildings, there are also forested gardens, a statue of King Sejong the Great and the National Museum of Art, which holds special exhibitions.

1: Aegibong Peace Eco Park

Aegibong is famous for the place where displaced people often visit. After the Korean War, many displaced people missed their homes and visited Aegibong to see their hometown. Also, famous for the Starbucks cafe on the observatory now.

The old observatory was established in 1978, but was demolished and it was renewed by the name of Jogang observatory where you can see the northern land from the closest distance.

Used to known with a huge Christmas tree, but Christmas lights were too bright to N. Korea and it caused conflict due to lack of electricity in N. Korea. The tree was removed, but Aegibong Peace Ecopark workers built the bridges in shape of the tree.
This Ecopark is a symbolic place representing peace and harmony.

This well-balanced class runs for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, and our professional perfumer will meticulously guide you through everything, from the basics of fragrance to the completion of your one-of-a-kind bespoke perfume.

The fragrances we use are 100% essential oils and absolutes blended into unique bases we have crafted ourselves, incorporating a distinctive Korean sensibility. 1: Korean Workers' Party Headquarters

The origins of the building are unclear, as records indicate that it was built in early 1946, prior to the establishment of the Workers' Party of North Korea (predecessor to the current Workers' Party of Korea).

2: The 2nd Tunnel

The 2nd Tunnel, which was made by North Koreans to invade South Korea, was discovered on March 24, 1975. This tunnel is 3.5 kilometers long and sits 50~160 meters below the surface. It stretches out 1.1 kilometers and 2.4 kilometers in the south and north directions respectively. Only 500 meters is open for tourism among the whole length. Inside of the tunnel, there is a plaza to gather a large military force. The tunnel is divided into 3 exits. The use of this tunnel would allow for thirty thousand armed forces as well as tanks to pass through per hour. For now, the tunnel is operated as part of Cheorwon Security Tourism Course and many tourists visit this area every year.

Peace observatory with three stories and a basement, opened in November 2007. The first floor is an exhibition hall and the second floor is an observatory, allowing tourists to observe the ecosystem, fortress of Gung-Ye Castle town, Pyeonggang tableland, and Seonjeon town of North Korea in the DMZ. There's also a miniature model produced by state-of-the-art technology and an ultra-precision telescope system, so that tourists can witness and listen to the reality of national division.

5: Bidulginang Waterfalls

Bidulginang Falls
The name "Bidulginang" comes from the Korean word nang, meaning nest, inspired by the hundreds of white doves that once nested in a cave behind the waterfall.
On September 26, 2012, the Cultural Heritage Administration designated the Pocheon Hantangang Basalt Gorge and Bidulginang Falls as Natural Monument No. 537.
Thanks to its stunning location and unique natural beauty, the falls have also appeared in popular historical K-dramas such as The Slave Hunters (Chuno), Queen Seondeok, and Warrior Baek Dong-soo.
