Leave your Colombo hotel early for the drive by private vehicle to Dambadeniya. If you wish, bring a packed breakfast for your journey.

On arrival, enter Dambadeniya to explore what was the epicenter of a 13th-century kingdom ruled by Parakramabahu II. View the ruined palace and Temple of the Buddha Tooth, hearing how Parakramabahu presided over a flowering of poetry with his Kavisilumina and Visuddi Marga Sannasa masterpieces.

Next, make the journey to Yapahuwa: a crumbled rock fortress of staircases and carvings that was the capital after Dambadeniya. Head inside and climb to the remnants to admire the main staircase with its stone lions and the hilltop Buddha stupa, famous for its with statues and Kandyan-era imagery.

After lunch at a local restaurant of your choice, continue to Panduwasnuwara, the islands capital during the 5th century BC and inhabited again from around the 12th century.

Enter the site to explore the museum and sprawling ruins, seeing the excavated treasures, palace, restored 2-story temple that housed Buddhas tooth, and Panda Wewa irrigation reservoir thought to be the worlds first.

1: Dambadeniya Ancient Kingdom Museum

The kingdom of Dambadeniya was at its peak during the mid-thirteenth century, especially during the reign of King Parakramabahu II. He was a peaceful king who brought Sinhalese literature to new heights with his epic poetic masterpieces Kavisilumina and Visuddi Marga Sannasa. You will get to see the recently excavated remains of the old Temple of the Tooth, where the Tooth Relic was housed previously, and the ruins of the royal palace complex with its gardens, walls and moats.

2: Yapahuwa Rock Fortress

A royal residence in 13th century Yapahuwa was able to preserve some interesting remains. While many traces of other ancient defenses are still seen, an ornamental stairway remains as the main piece.

The ruined walls of Yapahuwa form a rough semicircle. The ends join the foot of the high steepsided rocky granite outcrop. The outer fortification, an earthen rampart which extends to about a mile is about 20 feet in height. Over the rampart are the ruins of a brick wall that was erected to protect the interiors. Around the rampart was a moat. Access to the fortress was by means of the three gates that were connected to three causeways. Within this rampart was an inner fortification: a stone wall, 12 feet in height and about 500 yards long with a moat outside it and with two gates.

The homes of the ordinary people would have been between the outer and inner walls while the kings palace, administrative buildings and of course the Temple of the Tooth was within the inner wall.

3: Panduwasnuwara Kingdom

Yapahuwa was the capital of Sri Lanka right after Dambadeniya, when the Dravidians invaded. The fortress was built on a giant rock in the style of the Sigiriya rock fortress. However, the architecture of this fortress is completely different from Sigiriya with wide staircases, beautiful stone sculptures and highly detailed carvings on pillars. On your visit you will be able to climb to the fortress and view the ruins of the stupa on the summit of the rock. The stupa has some notable statues and imagery from the Kandyan era that you can peruse.

Airport / Matale
On arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport, you will get your first taste of warm Sri Lankan hospitality; Representative from Vishwa colombo Tours will Welcome you and transfer to Matale.
The treatments will commence from day two onwards.
You will be following the doctors treatment plan from your second day onwards. professional Ayurveda treatments; supervised by specialised Ayurveda doctors.
Between your Ayurveda treatments you can relax with Meditation .
TREATMENTS:
Your daily treatments will includes, Shirodhara, a synchronized body massages, oral medicine and many more treatments will be conducted, to create a perfect balance between Body, Mind & Soul.All treatments are based on Panchakarma -shirodhara the gentle way of healing. A Panchakarma treatment balances the bio-energies, the Doshas, which are responsible for our health and wellbeing.
After your Ayurvedic treatment we take you to sri lanka round tour to dambulla,sigiriya,polonnaruwa,kandy,nuwara eilya(including world famous train ride n/eliya to Ella),Ella,yala,Relax in mirissa beach,colombo.
After these activities you will be drop off to Bandaranayake international airport.
