WHAT TO EXPECT

Your tour begins with a morning or afternoon pickup from your Koh Samui hotel. Youll be driven to the departure point to meet your guide and group of up to 20 people. Hop aboard your own ATV/quad bike (or ride on the back with a friend) and enjoy a short introductory lesson before setting out on the tour.

Depending on the tour option selected, youll follow your guide on a thrilling 1- or 2-hour tour, zipping along rough jungle trails and tackling some steep uphill tracks, muddy creek crossings, and off-road sections. 1: Mu Ko Ang Thong National Marine Park

The day starts with an early morning pick-up from your hotel along the tropical shores of Samui, bringing you to one of Samuis northern boat landings. A warm welcome is given by the captain and his crew to all visitors before sailing off in comfort and speed towards Ang Thong National Marine Park. The 40+ islands have been one of the islands most attractive places to find lagoons, reefs and a few deserted beaches where a variety of birds regularly can be spotted. The curiously-shaped rock formations will soon appear, looming from afar and a day filled with exploration, relaxation and adventure await.

The crew is happy to point out some of the hidden natural treasures which often can only be reached by kayak. Following these aquatic trails, you will find yourself surrounded by awe-inspiring steep rock formations. Islands with names such as Mae Koh (great, remote beaches and an emerald Lake called Thale Nai) and Koh Paluay are just a few of the names that will get more attention.

Lunch is included on this day at Koh Paluay before moving on to venture further into Ang Thong National Marine Park. 1: Nathon Pier

8.00 AM : Following arrival at Nathon Pier, our receptionists will assist you throughout the check-in process together with presenting the tour instructions & itinerary.

Before the departure, we are pleased to serve you a deliciously prepared light breakfast including bakery, hot tea, coffee and fresh fruit. The tour boat has been uniquely designed to your comfort, which consists of 3 spacious decks offering better security. In addition, you are free to enjoy sunbathing on the roof deck while indulging in scents of the sea as well.

The arrival at Nathon Pier is approximately 8.00 AM, therefore, you will have about 30 minutes preparing for the tour or having the breakfas. Then, we cruise to Angthong National Park by 08.30 AM sharp, which will take about 80 minutes to arrival at Koh Wua Ta Lup by 09.50 AM.

2: Ko Wua Ta Lap

9.50 AM. : When we arrive at Wua Ta Lap island, the central island of the archipelago, there will be various creative activities waiting for you. Begin with challenging yourself at JanJaras nature trail mountain trekking, where the top viewpoint is 500 meters above the sea level, to admire the panoramic views of 42 islands of astonishing archipelago. In addition, relaxing on white-sandy beach and enjoying snorkeling under crystal-clear water are great options as you wish. Furthermore, another must-see attraction is the Lotus Cave also known as Bua Boke, where there is a short hike with magnificent stalactite and stalagmite mineral formations. Mesmerized with the ancient Burdei's whale skeleton at Angthong National Park Museum, and let's unfold the secret story of Angthong's magical heritages & its rich history.

You are allowed to leave your belongings on the boat. You will have approximately 60 minutes chilling around Koh Wua Ta Lup before we start the mountain trekking.

3: Pha Jun Jaras Viewpoint

10.50 AM. : Now, we shall begin our mountain trekking to Pha Jan Ja Ras, where has been renowned as one of the most spectacular natural mountain trekking trails of Thailand. Take your golden opportunity to admire the beauty of the Angthong archipelago above 500 meters with panoramic views. This mountain trekking might take a great deal of your effort and energy, nevertheless, it never leaves anyone disappointed. It would be useful to know that there are ladders together with fixed ropes along the route. After the long challenging route, the sensational scenery over the picturesque setting of Angthong National Park will be a huge reward for you. The trekking takes about 110 minutes.

We will spend a total of 150 minutes at Koh Mae Ko, from 09.50 AM until 12.20 PM. Afterwards, we will come back to the boat for a delicious lunch buffet.

WHAT TO EXPECT

When booking, select either a morning or afternoon 1- or 2-hour tour to suit your schedule and interests during your time on Koh Samui. Your tour starts with hotel pickup for the 10- to 30-minute ride to the northern area of the island where the tour takes place. Drive your own ATV, a quad bike used for off-road travel with low-pressure tires that allow you to traverse more terrain than other types of vehicles. Youll receive instruction from the staff on how to operate your ATV. After practicing a few rounds, set off on your exploration along dirt tracks.

1-hour tour:

Ride through the jungle, straight across a river and past coconut groves, taking in the wonderful scenery.

2-hour tour:

Go even further into the jungle to find a hidden waterfall deep inside the forest. Spot water buffalo and fruit farms, enjoying a memorable adventure, even if it rains.
This ATV tour of Koh Samui runs twice daily, in the morning and afternoon. When booking, select either a 1- or 2-hour tour for either departure time, including round-trip hotel transfers to the northern part of the island where the ATVs are located. Transport takes anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes, depending on your location.

On arrival, you will receive instruction on how to steer the all-terrain quad bike, as your safety is a top priority. Low-pressure tires help with handling a wider variety of terrain than most other vehicles. Do a few test rounds to get accustomed to riding before you set off.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Your tour begins with pickup from your Koh Samui hotel in time for a 10.30am departure. After meeting your guide and small group of no more than 15 people, hop aboard a 4x4 Jeep and set out into the jungle.

The first stop of the day is the Namuang waterfall, a beauty spot tucked away in the heart of the rainforest, where youll have chance to swim in the natural pools or get your adrenaline fix on the manmade water slide.

Continue driving into the mountains, admiring the scenery as you pass lush plantations, wild forests, and mountain farms. Stop to enjoy lunch (included) at a mountaintop restaurant and take in the views as you tuck into delicious Thai-style cuisine.

After a morning pick-up from Koh Samui, head straight to the pier to begin your maritime excursion among the 42 islands of Ang Thong. After being fitted for masks and snorkels, youll glide over to the island of Koh Wao to snorkel in the crystal-clear waters among magnificently diverse coral reefs. Explore the sheltered bay, keeping your eyes peeled for tropical fish.

Continuing through the national park, youll arrive at Koh Mae Ko for kayaking and after that. Disembarking and heading for the panoramic view above the Emerald Lagoon, a gem of Ang Thong Park. The Secret Garden,or Tannins Waterfall otherwise known as the Magic Garden or Secret Buddha Garden can be found in the hills of Koh Samui and was built by a local Samui fruit farmer, Nim Thongsuk, starting it in 1976 when he was 77 years old.
The Secret Garden is a beautiful landscaped garden featuring flowers and trees native to Koh Samui and Thailand and many Buddha statues with different meanings arranged in scenarios representing different ideals, which your tour guide will explain to you. Wat Plai Laem is a Buddhist temple compound on Samui's north-east coast, which features a striking white 18-armed image of Guanyin, the Goddess of Mercy and Compassion. Close to the Big Buddha temple, Wat Plai Laem offers visitors a view into Chinese-Thai beliefs as well as some elaborate Buddhist-themed art and architecture.

Wat Plai Laem is a living and active temple, where devotees come daily to pay homage to Guanyin and the Buddha, who is also depicted in a number of statues and murals around the temple. The art techniques used in its creation are centuries old and based on ancient beliefs. Adding to its feel of tranquillity, the temple is surrounded by a lake, which is teeming with fish.
