THE BEST TIME TO VISIT SOUTH KOREA

The country of South Korea is prone to extreme weather conditions and temperatures during both the summer and winter periods. The best time to visit the country is the springtime (April to June) when vibrant cherry blossom blooms can be seen, and during the autumn (September to November) months when the leaves are changing into vibrant colors. Travel expenses are low during these times of the year. Temperatures during both of these seasons are generally pleasant and suitable for outdoor activities, and the chances of rain are lower, and humidity levels are low. The summer months are best to avoid as it is monsoon season, this is also the highest season with higher temperatures and costs.

There are several cultural festivals that take place throughout the year in South Korea. These fun, vibrant festivals offer visitors a glimpse into the traditions of the Korean way of life. The Korean New Year takes place on the first day of the lunar month, it is a good time to visit and a great festival to experience.

South Korean weather is pretty straightforward with minimal regional differences throughout the country. The year is divided neatly into four distinct seasons; Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. The main regional temperature differences in the country can be attributed to the altitudinous interior and the warmer, windier coastline.
