November - June
From November to June the daily temperatures range from 75 - 87F degrees, this time of year combines winter weather and the holiday season, also making it the high season to travel to Singapore. November and December tend to be quite a bit cooler than other months and is also the Northeast monsoon season which runs from November to January with about 10-12 inches of rainfall per month. The peak holiday season is a busy and expensive time of year to travel to the country with accommodation and flight prices reaching their peak. It is recommended to make reservations well in advance if you wish to travel at this time of year. Many holidays, festivals, and events take place in Singapore including Deepavali; the Hindu festival of lights. The country hosts its famous New Year's Eve fireworks display around the iconic towering buildings of Marina Bay Sands.
Around mid-February is when tourists start to trickle out and the rates of accommodations start to fall, this is a good month to visit with fewer crowds. April and May also offer visitors some great deals on flights. From March until late May visitors can enjoy some of the driest and warmest months in Singapore. The average temperature consists of daily highs around 89F. Storms still occur this time of year but are often short bursts of sporadic thunderstorms in the afternoons. The heat and rising temperatures creep in during June. Not only is it hot with temperatures that can soar in the high 90s, but the humidity is also high making outdoor activities hard to enjoy. Spending a day at the beach and cooling off in the waters can be refreshing, or partake in some retail therapy inside in the air conditioning.
