Summer - May to October

The summer months bring some of the best weather to the islands especially from June to September when the chances of rain are low and the temperatures of the Pacific are at their warmest. The average daily temperature is 85 degrees and water temperatures are nearly 80 degrees. The summer months are the most popular with July taking the top spot drawing in the most visitors especially those visiting for summer holidays. The end of April through to the middle of June can be a quieter time to visit with fewer crowds, lower prices, and more availability for accommodations, etc. May is an especially great month to visit Hawaii with fantastic weather, amazing festivals, and limited crowds, daytime highs sit around 80, and evening lows are in the 60s. Hurricane seasons run from June through November in Hawaii when tropical storms and hurricanes can approach the islands, there is plenty of warning to plan around these storms. July brings amazing weather to the islands and it is peak tourist season when it can become increasingly crowded. Temperatures soar through September and these months remain popular with families on summer vacations and honeymooners. October is a quieter month when the rainy season starts, it's also a good time to visit for great deals on flights and accommodations.
