The Dry Season (mid-December - mid-April)

Spanning from mid-December to mid-April, the dry season is the most sought-after period for visiting Martinique. During this time, the island boasts warm, sunny, and mostly dry weather, with temperatures averaging around 82 °F and sea temperatures at about 81 °F. The calm and clear sea conditions are perfect for water activities such as swimming, snorkeling, and diving. Martinique is particularly lively in February’s Carnival season, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in colorful parades and festivities.

Keep in mind that this is the high season for tourists, which makes for all-inclusive resorts and beaches to be busier than usual. We recommend booking your excursions early to be sure to claim your spot amidst the crowds. Expect to pay more for accommodations during these months.
