June - November (Rainy Season)

The rainy season in the Cayman Islands is from June to early November, with September and October the wettest months. However, it does not rain every day. The showers are often short, they typically pass by after a few hours, followed by clear sunny skies. This is also when flight and hotel fares are discounted. While the tropical vacation destination see much fewer crowds.

Hurricane season on the Cayman Islands lasts from June 1 to November 30. The islands’ location in the western part of the Caribbean is an advantage from being hit too hard by the Atlantic hurricane season and satellite forecasts give plenty of warning that safety precautions can be taken if a storm strikes.
