Spring (April - May)

Spring in Armenia may be brief, but it’s one of the most rewarding times to visit. As the country shakes off winter, the landscapes come alive with blooming wildflowers, green valleys, and the fresh scent of renewal. Early spring can still be cool and rainy, especially in March, but by late April, the weather turns noticeably warmer and drier. Average temperatures in Yerevan hover around 65F, though it’s cooler in the mountains. This is a fantastic season for hikers and nature lovers, with excellent conditions for countryside walks and monastery visits. Just keep in mind that spring weather can be unpredictable, so packing layers and a light rain jacket is a smart move.
