Autumn (September - October)
Autumn in Armenia is a colorful season and arguably the most enjoyable time to visit. Starting in September, the days are still warm and dry, and the markets overflow with fresh produce, especially apricots, Armenia’s beloved (and unofficial) national fruit. As the season progresses, the landscape shifts into a beautiful tapestry of gold, amber, and deep orange, especially in forested regions like Dilijan National Park. It’s an ideal time for hiking, photography, and even wine tasting, with harvest season in full swing. Temperatures begin to dip in October, and while occasional rain and early frosts are possible by November, the weather often remains pleasant enough for outdoor adventures. With fewer crowds and breathtaking natural beauty, autumn is truly one of Armenia’s best-kept travel secrets.
