Autumn - September - November

The month of September sees a ton of rain, especially in southern Nepal. It begins to dissipate toward the end of the month. October brings clear blue skies and fresh air with incredible views, a great time to be outdoors. This is a great time to visit Chitwan National Park, Kathmandu, and Everest Base Camp. These months have excellent trekking conditions and provide breathtaking mountain views and verdant landscapes ideal for photographers. It is the start of the busy season, so tourist attractions start to get crowded, and accommodations and other travel-related activities are more limited. Temperatures during this time of year remain in the mid-80s, with a chance of some cooler days in October. Nighttime temperatures drop into the 50s. October and November are the dry months, so it is a great time for trekking.
