Wet Season - June to October

Cambodia may be a good time to visit, offering travelers lesser crowds and pleasant weather other than the rain from time to time. This is a good time to find good travel deals and more availability at hotels. The weather can be hot with high humidity, and obviously more chances of heavy downpours. June to October is considered the rainy season, which typically means an afternoon thunderstorm that provides some welcome relief from the heat and humidity. The rainy season brings the lush verdant landscapes of Cambodia’s stunning landscapes to life, especially the luscious rice paddies. July, August, and September are the peak of the rain season. These are also a good time to visit Cambodia for discounted prices at hotels and resorts with fewer tourists, as this is considered a shoulder season. October sees the highest humidity, around 85%, with average temperatures around 80°F.
