April - June

Springtime is the best time to visit Puerto Rico. The beautiful island boasts sunshine-filled days with a nice cooling breeze and is a lot less crowded this time of year. This time of year brings many exciting festivals and events to the island. April is considered the start of the rainy season, however these afternoon showers rarely last more than 30 minutes, and the rain varies by location on the island. The average daily high temperatures during the month of May 87 degrees and the lows are 74 degrees. June is the hottest month of the year with high temperatures around 89 degrees, it is also the start of hurricane season. Travel prices during this time are at an all-time low and some of the best festivals take place, making it the best time to visit.
