Winter - December - February

The winter months start to set in around the end of November and run into the new year when temperatures drop between 59-68F degrees. This is another great time of year to visit Hong Kong as the weather is pretty consistent, there are still plenty of sunshine-filled days with a pleasant breeze and comfortable temperatures. As the holiday season approaches the city is adorned with spectacular festive decorations including large Christmas trees, interactive displays, and so many lights!! The weather remains warm and dry through to the New Year, this is a quieter time in some areas as many locals travel. This time of year is great for exploring the great outdoors and trying some of Hong Kong’s hiking trails, as well as exploring the city with fewer crowds.
