June - September

The High Season runs from July to September with average daily temperatures at a perfect 78°F. This is a busy time on the islands when holidaygoers flock to the stunning beaches and resorts, and soak up the Fijian sunshine. Prices for flights and accommodations can skyrocket as this is also winter break for many Australians and New Zealanders. 

Winter in July is from July to September, which doesn’t mean much in regards to temperature. The average temperatures range between 66-78F degrees which is slightly cooler than other months, the evenings are typically cooler during this time. From May to September is also considered the country’s dry season with little to no rain. There is an abundance of festivals and events that take place at this time of year. Fiji’s breathtaking beaches are busy during the high season, especially around Nadi’s main resort section. Beachgoers can expect clear blue skies at this time of year with plenty of sunshine. They can also anticipate some of the highest prices of any season when flights and accommodations skyrocket in June, July, August, and September.
