March - May

The month of March is the end of the main dry season in Colombia and the peak tourist season. Temperatures are on the rise at this time, especially in Cartagena, and Medellin. This is a great time of year to get outside take advantage of the lovely weather and avoid the busy crowds. Easter can be a busy time in the country with lots of colorful processions and locals traveling around. These months are good for visiting the Caribbean Coast especially the islands of San Andres and Providencia, to explore the glorious beaches and remarkable coral reefs. April is when the wet season officially begins and continues through May, visitors can expect some showers, but the rain doesn’t last that long, and exploring the country is still possible.
