September - November (Fall)

From September, hotel rates begin to drop, especially in Baku, where cooler temperatures (below 77°F) make for comfortable sightseeing. It's a great time to explore the Old Town, admire the Flame Towers, or stroll along the Caspian promenade without the summer crowds.

The fall season is also Azerbaijan’s peak festival season. The Azerbaijan Grand Prix brings high-speed action to Baku’s streets in September, followed by the Baku Jazz Festival in October. In rural areas, harvest celebrations come alive with events like the Ganja Grape Festival and the Göyçay Pomegranate Festival, featuring local food, music, and traditions.

Beyond the cities, the countryside glows in warm fall colors. Forested regions like Sheki, Gabala, Ismayilli, and Lahij offer beautiful settings for hiking, photography, and peaceful escapes.
