Wet Season - May - October

The wet monsoon season runs from May to October in Laos, the season also known as the “green season,” when the rains bring the verdant landscapes to life. The weather this time of year is high temperatures and high humidity, especially in the southern and mountainous regions of the country. Average temperatures hover around 86°F and higher during this time. The majestic waterfalls around the country are in full flow by July, and the rainy season continues into August and September with heavier downpours becoming more frequent. The month of October brings significantly drier weather and is a good time to visit with mild weather, breathtaking scenery, and fewer crowds.
