Combine with a Rental Car and visit; Paris (the romantic City of Lights, stroll the Champs Elysses and indulge in the incomparable French cuisine), next is Orleans (capital of the "Loire Valley Centre Region", and best known as one of the cities visited by Joan of Arc); after that, Blois (a hillside city on the Loire River, is the capital of the Loir-et-Cher department in central France). From there, drive to Tours (with its gothic cathedral Saint-Gatien, with 12th-century bases and Renaissance tops). End this trip with a couple of spectacular nights, again in Paris before heading back home.
